Chapter 8: Origin System Activated
As soon as I broke through from Mortal Origin State level 6 to Muscle refinement state level 1 I heard a bell sound inside my hears which sounded like a mobile notification and then I felt as if somebody spoke and when I looked around I found no one and thought maybe I was going crazy.
The person then spoke again and said " The host has reached the bare minimum cultivation to activate the origin system " and when I heard this you should have seen the look on my face I was so excited like a kid who got a brand new toy.
I was not confused as I had read many novels that took the main character ( In this case me ) to another world and then they got this magical system that gave the MC missions which helped him succeed in his life and made him OP.
Soon the system started to explain about it each different features and told me that it had three different features present and they were the same old features that our present in an RPG style of game.
The features that were present in the system were Stats menu, Quest menu, Skill menu and after mentioning the feature the system explained each and how they were related to my cultivation level.
Stats Menu
The system explained that I had to increase my stats through out my life to keep on advancing in cultivation realm and told me that there was a limitation that I had to reach in each stat to have a breakthrough and that I could not practice cultivation in the normal way but the system shall take care of my cultivation and I should just focus on increasing my stats.
Then I checked out my stats menu and found this

Quest Menu
The system explained that this is the menu which is one of the most important as the user does different quest he shall get different rewards that either boost user cultivation and help increase his stats or can even give the user different skills of different levels.
When I checked my quests I found out that as the system had just activated there were no current quest activated and the system also told me that as soon as the tutorial would end the system would start to provide me with quests.
Skills Menu
The system explained me that here I could see the level of the various skills I learn and obtain from the system and here the skills max level shall also be given by the system and the system also told me that here I could also check to which elements did I have affinity too and also my talent in regards to learning different modes of combat.
Then I checked the Skill menu and found out this
Martial skills :
Aura Control level 2 (0/100) : Helps the user to hide his aura and this skills help to make surprise attacks and uses dark element to hide ones aura.It require one energy point to activate for 1 minute and has it mastery at level 20 and is a common skill.
Time Slow level 2 (10/100) : Helps user slow down the perception of time and is classified as an legendary eye skill and uses time element to execute the skill.It require 1 energy point to activate for one second and has it mastery at level 100.
Affinity towards different elements :
Dark element affinity : Mid low grade
Time element affinity : Low grade
Talents in weapons:
None
When I saw that I had zero talent in weapons I was extremely sad as then I would have to rely on only my skills and could only have a hand to hand combat and when I asked system in hopes that there was a reason for my talents in weapon being empty.
The system responded that I would have to wield a weapon to find my innate talent in them and also told me that I could increase my weapon talent and my elemental affinity by doing quests which made me very happy.
As soon as the tutorial finished I got a notification from the system " Quests are now available in the quest menu " and then I checked my quest menu and found something interesting like this

Sub quest : Max out all your stats and break through to Muscle refinement state level 2
Reward :Get a low grade talent in sword fighting
I was so excited that I almost died of joy that I could already get a talent in sword fighting and was very happy with the reward the only problem was that I had zero clue how to increase my stats and was stuck as the system never explained how to improve my current stats and I could also practice my skills but as I had no proper fighting skill I could not increase my stats.
I then decided that as I was not good with any weapon I shall go throw physical training as even the system had recommended this as I was to thin and pale looking and did not have much physical training and made a special program that I would follow every day.
The program was that I would first do some basic push ups at least 10 per day and then squats at least 20 per day and then I will also run 1 mile every day as it was still morning I started doing my exercises.
I found it very hard to do push ups and mostly was able to do only 5 in a row before completely being exhausted and even felt as if my hands were shaking to much.I found that I could hardly even do 10 squats but kept on pushing myself for 20.
