Chapter 12: Reaching The Cold Forest

Soon after his explanation of the map we took all our gear and got in a flying van and reach the mountain in nearly took only 1 seconds and this was a shock for me also I almost vomited as this was the first time I had been on a thing that was this fast and I felt as if I had just traveled on a freaking missile.

Soon we got out of the van with our gear and then started to walk to the first base camp that was located on the bottom and after walking for half an hour we finally saw the base camp and I swear that gear was very heavy and hard to carry and I felt as if I was doing master Roshi training with the heavy turtle.

We then kept all our stuff down and then headed to the main hall of the base camp and to be honest with you this base camp was huge like it was a base camp for climbing mount Everest and could easily be the size of one football fields.

After we reported to the main hall we found another set of 20 people and found out that there were two groups in total who would go together and had left before us and had all people in muscle refinement state from level 1 to level 9 and was weaker than us as we also had 5 people above that and their commander was ahead of them and was like our commander colonel Han.

When the both commander of the two plateau met the commander from their plateau saluted our commander so it look like he was below the position of colonel and then Colonel Han called for me and then I headed towards them and then Colonel Han introduced me to the other commander and the commander introduced himself this way " It is my pleasure to meet the young master my name is Qiao Yan and I am a captain "

At that moment I understood the entire situation why the captain looked at me with disgust and anger in his eye it turned out that it was Colonel Han off but he had to report and was assigned to the beginner training program for today which a captain would attend all because of me coming on the training.

I then returned back to my plateau and then we headed inside and spend some time in the base and waited for the weather to get cleared up and then we left around 1 hour later and then we started walking on this steep road that was constructed around the mountain.

After another 2 to 3 hour without break I felt as if my legs were going to break down and then suddenly I saw a bunch of notifications which were these

"User has successfully increased agility + 1 "

"User has successfully increased strength +2"

I was happy seeing that this mountain climbing training on day 1 had already given me how many stats I get in a week and even more and well I guess if you keep on walking fast on a slope of mountain for continues 2 to 3 hours and you can increase your speed but will get punished if you decrease the speed.

While I was thinking about how good this trip was going I did not realize that my speed became slow and then soon enough the commander stared at me and then punished me and he told me to do 20 push ups right now.

He made everyone wait and see me do the push ups I was tensed as before I could only do 5 to 10 I closed my eyes to do the push ups and found out that it had become easier to do those push ups even with the equipment.

When I finished my push ups I saw a notification telling me that my vitality the weakest stat I had actually had increased by 1 and after doing my push up within 15 minutes we reached the cold forest and then we set up are camps just at the outskirt of the forest near a small river.

I was dumb struck when I got to know that we were making our camp near the river as monster were just like animals and would come to drink water on the river and we might get attacked at night and then I headed in the commander cabin to discuss this problem with him.

The Colonel Han replied this"trust me when you mind your own business life is way less stressful and just send me directly out of the cabin without giving me a reason and I swear I felt like the author had just made a meme of me.

As I looked sad the second commander Captain Qiao met with me and asked me why I was sad and then I told him about what happen between me and Colonel Han and then Captain Qiao replied "don't take his answer to heart you know he had to miss his one week of holiday because he was assigned to lead a beginner training camp cause you were coming in the camp and so was I but I did not miss any holidays"

When I heard this I asked captain Qiao about who normally leads the beginner training camp and he replied that normally a warrant officer would come to lead the beginner training and then he cracked a joke to cheer me up but I just felt worse as it was a dad joke.

the joke was this " You known before I was in the army I used to work in a calendar factory but I was fired as I took a couple days off " and busted into laughter and left me alone well I had my own work too and started collecting the grass.

Soon enough I collected all the 100 fire grass and then I got a notification the system has added a new feature known as trade feature and now the system shall explain.
