Xiao Long's Power

"So your venerable majesty, what is the power that you have given in this mortal body of mine?" Xiao Long kindly asked, as if he was asking a favor, he was even addressing God of Sloth in his prestige. Only batted an eye while he tucked his hands crossed on his chest and tilted his nose facing the sky. Showing off a proud gesture. He said "Brat, it's only a minor gift. I reconstructed your anatomy just a little bit." God of Sloth said casually.

"Cough!" "cough!" "You reconstructed what?"Xiao Long coughed as he asked. Realizing that God of Sloth must've mingled his body. "Aiya!" A faint blush appeared on his cheeks and suddenly burst of in embarrassment. He felt like he was stripped naked on what God of Sloth did to him. Xiao Long gestured as if he was trying to cover his chest and his lower body with his hands .

God of Sloth noticed Xiao Long's strange gesture and soon he realized his mistake. "Brat I never mingled on your body! I used a great amount of lightning in order to alternate the elements within your body! You get it now?!" God of Sloth hurriedly explained to turn down the misunderstanding. With a slight blush on his old wrinkled cheeks, God of Sloth can't help but feel embarrassed as well.

After a few breaths, God of Sloth tried to redirect the topic " S...So.. you don't want mid level regeneration? Sigh guess I'll just take it back by hitting that 'Massive Pillar of Lightning' on you once again!" God of Sloth jested. He intentionally voiced out 'Massive Pillar of Lightning' a bit louder so that he could tease Xiao Long even more. Then suddenly, the corners of Xiao Long's face suddenly darkened. Xiao Long immediately said "You're not joking are you?" Xiao Long asked with a serious expression as if his life depended on it. "Brat, I a God would lie? If I ever did that, then call me not a God but your sister!" God of Sloth assured with pride. He turned his nose facing the sky, with clutched arms gesturing proudly.

'I finally stroke in luck! I could use this later on my cultivation' Xiao Long cheered inwardly. Xiao Long fully ignored on what God of Sloth have said. The fact that he was going to be hit by that gigantic lightning was nothing to him! But instead he rejoiced! He had confirmed that he now have an ability to regenerate. He plans make full use of it by strengthening the parts of his body and specifically, his 'fatal parts' as well.

'I should train soon so that I could strengthen my bones and cultivate my muscles since I will to have fight someday' Xiao Long has gotten excited by the fact that he could regenerate much faster! His new power will significantly help him in his cultivation .

It contains different blessings that is unlocked depending on your cultivation level." God of Sloth added "The cultivation in this realm starts from Mortal Body tier. In time, you will pass through many cultivation levels and if you've got what it takes, you will achieve Divine Sovereign tier or so as that was the highest cultivation that I know since I've stepped onto this realm." God of Sloth explained briefly. He distinguished each cultivation tiers: Mortal Body Tier, Fighter Tier, Refined Fighter Tier, Soul Fighter Tier, Martial Tyrant Tier, Martial Emperor Tier, Divine Conqueror, and finally Divine Sovereign. Each cultivation tier comes with 9 levels each. Just like it this realm's belief "There are considered nine divine gods that first appeared in the creation of time. It was possible that in each cultivation that the nine gods tried to limit the levels only up to nine so it will serve as the balance of the many realms in the universe" Xiao Long was surprised by the fact that there is cultivation in this realm! As long as there is cultivation, there is also progress in strength. And if there is strength, anyone can break through many kinds of hardships!

"Wait, did you just said realm? So I'm not in Earth anymore?" Xiao Long was confused. "No, you're still in Earth but in a different space. God of Sloth told Xiao Long in a serious tone. Xiao Long have listened to God of Sloth's story and responded with a nod. 'It seems that the technology here might be the same as in Ancient China where everything is manual. I might take advantage of this once I obtained the chance' Xiao Long thought and grew excited but he can't help feel worrisome for his family.

"For now, you're only at the 2nd layer of Mortal Body Tier, and the only power that you can use right now is the ability to stop time. Because your cultivation is really low, you can only use it for 5 mintues" God of Sloth explained Xiao Long's cultivation and ability in detail. "Eh? That's useless. I'd prefer pyrokineses since it can burn a lot of stuff. I can actually cook with it! Very efficient!" Xiao Long replied in humor.

God of Sloth can't help but sigh. "You fool! You can't be so choosy in the power that has been given to you!" God of Sloth scolded at Xiao Long. As a matter of fact, Xiao Long was never interested in having super powers. He'd rather gain strength by using different scientific methods, and pull of cunning tactics in order to gain advantage on his opponent. To him, proving one's dominance to someone strong is to beat them in their own game. 'It might be useful when the time comes, I might practice this ability later on'. "So Grandpa Sloth, how do I use it?" Xiao Long asked while calling God of Sloth as 'grandpa sloth'. Although Xiao Long was already 17 years old, he would still act childishly from time to time.

"Wuwuwu!" God of Sloth shakes his head. Though he knows that Xiao Long was only joking but still God of Sloth felt a bit embarrassed. Adding to the fact that he possessed the dead body of Xiao Long's grandfather, God of Sloth can't help but place his palm on his face. God of Sloth now lost all his enthusiasm. He managed to calm himself. God of Sloth responded on Xiao Long's question. He said, "You just need to think of time stopping. You can control it to go slower as well but you can never accelerate it " Xiao Long nodded in response to God of Sloth.

"Right. Now we should be heading back, oh wait I should loo-" Xiao Long confirmed on how he could activate his ability and now was planning to look for some animals to hunt for food. Until Xiao Long saw a group of three people heading towards their direction. God of Sloth noticed them as well.

"Hm? There are three people coming this way. And their auras are fuming with evil intent." God of Sloth said as he inspect the three. While God of Sloth was looking at them, he suddenly had an idea. He further added "This might be a good chance for you to take practice" His lips slightly curved into a faint smile. 'Sigh I promised to find some good food for Xiao Yu and the rest. Though it won't hurt a bit if I gave a bit of thrashing.' Xiao Long was itching for a fight.

"Brat do not underestimate those three. Their cultivation is above yours. The two of them are in the 5th layer of Mortal Body Tier while the last one is at the 7th layer" God of Sloth warned.

"Let's just see" Xiao Long replied with confidence. His gaze swept on to the three figures that were approaching and gave out a menacing smile! What could Xiao Long be hiding with his smile? His eyes glared with fierce light as his brows narrowed and gazed at the three people that stopped towards them.
