Quickly, the rest of the day passed by and Sam went back to his dorm room after having another large meal at the cafeteria.

Sam opened his door and was surprised to see Ryan and Donovan sitting at a table, looking at their phones, both concentrating very hard.

Ryan tapped on his phone nervously for a couple of seconds before Donovan shot up out of his seat.

"Gah! No way, redo! Just because your heroes are rare, it doesn't mean they get to beat my heroes that are far superior in levels! Ten levels! Ten!"

Ryan fistpumped in victory before staring innocently at Donovan.

"Maybe because I have better tactics, equipment, and characters?" Ryan gloated.

"AH! I'm about to quit the game."

"No wait, don't! I'm sorry!" Ryan panicked, his blue eyes going wide.

Donovan stared at Ryan blankly. "Did you really think I was going to quit? I was exaggerating."

"Eh?"

"You're so naive," Donovan chuckled.

"Donovan, stop making fun of Ryan," said Sam as he set his bag on the floor by his bed.

"But it's funnnnnnn...." whined Donovan as he got up and stretched.

"You, know I thought that all high schoolers now days would have been corrupted," commented Sam.

Ryan thought for a while. "Hmm, maybe it's because I'm homeschooled?"

"But what about the people you hangout with? They should have let slip a couple of innuendos or something at some point."

"I don't interact with people that often and just play with my little sister."

"Did you ever get lonely?"

"A little bit, yeah, but I just read books and play games in my spare time."

Donovan looked shocked. "I've never met or even heard of a person like you."

"Ehm is that a bad thing?" Ryan asked as he fidgeted nervously.

"No, it's not a bad thing, it's just very... unusual in this day and age."

"Wait, Ryan, I really have to ask you. Do you know what Instagram is?"

Ryan thought for a moment. "It's a game?"

Both Donovan and Sam stared at Ryan, shocked.

"It's not a game? If not, what is it?"

"It's a social media app where people post their pictures and videos."

"Oh, I see, it sounds interesting. Should I download this app too?"

Sam shrugged, "If you want to."

"Okay! I'll download it."

After a couple of minutes, the app was downloaded. Ryan opened the app and began to set up an account.

"What should I do for my profile picture?"

"Just take a selfie," said Donovan, his eyes glued to his phone as he tapped away furiously, focused on leveling up his heroes in his game.

So Ryan followed his instructions, quickly taking a picture. The picture was of course godly. Ryan looked exactly like the handsome little cinnamon roll he was.

"It's asking me to make my first post, what should I do?"

"Mmm... Just take a picture with me, I guess, " shrugged Sam.

Sam kneeled next Ryan, who was sitting on a chair. "Smile!"

They both did. The photo was like a masterpiece made by a skillful painter. The two boys seemed to be too perfect to be real. Sam simply added a selfie hashtag and posted it. Then he began to guide Ryan through Instagram. He introduced all of the basics, like what the hashtags were and how stories worked.

"Hey, Sam, what's your account?"

"Oh yeah, it's just @XXXXX."

Blah blah blah. In the end, all three followed each other , blah blah blah. wow, Sma has many follows. Much wow. Such amaze. Wow Donovan too. Such impress.

"Hmm, do you play the game 'Holy War'?"

"Oh, yeah, I do."

"What's your nickname?"

"It's 'Hole of Infinite Hunger'," said Sam, his ears red.

"Mine is 'gamer'," said Ryan proudly.

"Wait, you mean you're the number one on the leaderboard?"

"Yup," said Ryan, beaming.

Sam's eyes widened. "Woah, Ryan, how?"

"I just had a lot of free time, so I just started to farm in my freetime."

"That's crazy, you're like 40 levels higher than me, and I started pretty early. Hold up, if Donovan is ten levels higher than you, that means he should be somewhere on the top of the leaderboard."

"Yup! I'm number 3 on the leaderboard~" said Donovan, finally paying more attention now that he finished his battle.

They spent the rest of the night farming monsters together and talking about their hobbies and all of the crazy stories they had experienced.
