"Sam, are you ready for the big party?" Carmella asked above the sound of a hair dryer.
"As ready as I'll ever be." He looked up and smiled at the stylist who was doing his hair and outfit. "Thank you for doing this, Amanda."
She blushed. "No problem, it's my job."
She turned off the blow dryer and started to carefully comb Sam's hair, applying hair mousse liberally here and there. Sam's hair was carefully parted, revealing his charming amber eyes.
When his hair was finished, Amanda clapped her hands and smiled cheerfully. "Okay! Go get dressed! You better not mess the hair up."
Her last sentence was paired with a glare and a threatening tone, a total 180 from her usual happy andshy personality.
Sam nodded sheepishly. He remembered the time he accidentally messed the hair up. Amanda scolded him and grumbled as she fixed his hair. She wasn't loud, nor did she curse, but she had a very dangerous air about her that left Sam shivering in his seat the whole time she repaired the results of his blunder.
Sam went into his dressing room and quickly stripped, making sure not to touch his hair and put on his clothes. A crisp, white button down that had been ironed the day of, a navy blue suit with slightly metallic dark blue patterns of swirls and dragons that were barely visible, and a simple thin black ribbon tie. As for his bottom half, he had grey trousers and black oxfords.
Amanda looked at Sam to make sure nothing was out of place.
"Okay! Off you go!"
"Thank you for your work!"
Amanda laughed and waved him off.

Sam stepped out of his car and handed his keys to the valet with a word of thanks before marvelling at the director's large mansion. He walked to the front door where other guests filed in as George greeted them warmly.
"It's so nice to see you Bianca? How are the kids? Wow, five already, they grow up so fast! The party is in the garden with food and drinks. Feel free to explore as well."
Finally, George spotted Sam, "Ah. Here is one of the stars of the show! The second male lead and general to the prince… SAM!"
He ran over and hugged Sam warmly. "Glad to see you made it!"
"Of course, I'd never miss this!"
"Let me give you a tour- oh, hey! Draven!" George said as he waved at the tall man.
"Perfect, now that the both of you are here, I can give you both a tour at once."
George led them around the house, Sam marvelling at the modern house that gradually shifted into an oriental chinese theme. The intricate woodwork, styled garden with plenty of fragrant flowers, the ambient noise of the guests talking as they networked and socialized.
"Woooowwww. Who's your interior designer?"
"Alica Montoya. She's pretty private and doesn't take many commissions, but I can ask her for you."
"Really? That'd be amazing."
"No problem, no problem. Now go my children into the world, George said as he motioned to where the guests congregated.
Sam laughed, "Come on Draven, let's go together, maybe they'll be more convinced to invest when we team up. With my gorgeous face, and your dashing looks, they'll be so stunned that they'll just hand over their checkbooks, heheheh."
Draven blinked in mild amusement.
"Double the handsome, double the power. They won't know what hitem. EHEHEHHE," Sam laughed evilly.
Sam pulled him to a group of people, catching Draven by surprise. When he reached the group, his smile switched from mischevious to charming and polite.
"Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Jupiter Aleado, and this is Draven Lars. He's the main character of Rising Dragons( I don't remember naming it, so if you know the name, just tell me) and I'm the second lead."
The group of people introduced themselves as people of various high positions in different major companies, but one of them stuck out to Sam.
"H-hi. My name is Charlotte of the H.A.R company."
"That sounds familiar… wait, are you Charlotte from the academy? I remember you!"
Charlotte nodded and blushed. Even after 4 years, she still had a fangirl crush for Sam. She heard about the party from her dad and begged him to let her go too in the hopes that she would meet the object of her affection. Sam smiled sweetly at her, his dimples and smiling amber eyes making him look positively angelic.
"It's been so long! How've you been?"
"I've been a-alright, how about you?" Charlotte asked tentatively.
"I've been doing fine, just a couple bumps here and there, but nothing I can't handle…" Sam's smile seemed to fade.
Draven frowned when he noticed. The wound Daniel left must have not healed yet.
"We'll be showing the first episode of the show later, so be sure to watch it, okay?"
"Y-yeah, I can't wait to see you in action."
Charlotte held back her inner screams as Sam walked away with Draven in tow to talk to another group of people.
For an hour, Sam flitted from group to group, Draven tagging along, introducing himself and Draven while explaining the movie.
Sam collapsed in a chair, Draven sitting down beside him. They sat in silence, not the uncomfortable kind, as Sam rested. Even though he was a social butterfly, this was too much for him.
Sam finally looked towards Draven who noticed his gaze. They looked eyes. One pair was amber, and the other was stormy grey.
"Hey, you have nice eyes. Grey is a pretty rare eye color. Especially for Asians."
"It's comes from my grandmother's side, my mom doesn't have it, but me and my brother do. Your eye color is also really nice. They look like honey when the sun hits them."
"Ah… Thank you." Sam looked away, his ears slightly red.
Inwardly, he was flustered to have been complimented by Draven, a prominent figure in the acting world.
"I got them from my mom. Are you nervous about the showing?"
Draven smirked, "What, you think your acting skills are that bad?"
"NO. I just don't know if they'll like the decisions I made with the character."
"Mhm."
"Hey! You-"
Sam was interrupted by screaming.
"Oh my god, someone fell in the pool!"
"She looks like she has a leg cramp!"
Sam shot up from his seat and bolted to the pool.
