The end of a nightmare

For better or for worse, whatever the reason for the birth of the great demon, that only marked the death of a world. His name was Fral a demon that was born about 500 years ago and was defeated by the heroes chosen by the gods themselves and blessed to resist the influence of the great demon, who sent him to the abyss, but before falling in that place, He invoked the last curse to condemn the world that the heroes so much wanted to protect, who would say that after such a long time that terrible creature would be invoked again to the world from which he was expelled.

Fral was considered a master in deception and in the use of curses and was also capable of destroying the perception of any being he faced making him an unrivaled demon. The gods watched the humans go march to war against the forces of this demon. only to end up becoming subordinates of him.

The gods fell in despair watching as the humans who venerated and love them abandoned them and stopped praying to them. In a desperate act the god Zarthel Lord of life and death made a decision that none of the other gods dared to think. he sacrifice the life of thousand of followers and invoke heroes from other worlds to fight against the demon.

when they arrived in the new world the seven heroes agreed to help the gods in exchange for fulfilling the desires that the heroes demanded the seven heroes helped financially by the emperor separated into seven individual directions and began to fight against the forces of Fral destroying one step at a time his army and its generals beginning to weakening him.

Three years passed and the human war was reaching its inevitable end on the island of the abyss where Fral was and the last of his most loyal soldiers was falling at the mercy of the heroes as they desperately tried to prevent them from reaching their master.

The heroes finally after an arduous struggle defeated the last soldiers of Fral taking control of the island of the abyss. the seven heroes now assembled were preparing for their last great battle against the same Fral that lay within the great mountain that was in the valley where everything was dead even the very earth was dry and broken and unable to offer life to any plant because the presence of the demon.

The sun began to rise on the horizon of the Dead Sea and the heroes left for their last battle against the last of their enemies. When they entered the mountain, they found incredible staircases illuminated by torches of crimson flames. These stairs descended to the very heart of the mountain.

The heroes finally reached the heart of the mountain where the great demon resided but strangely the huge room was completely empty and on the walls were full of red marks that shone slightly and hero of the spear Reginald entered very confident to the great room but he was instantly killed by the marks on the walls that sucked his mana and life out of his body.

The seven heroes had become six for a simple moment of distraction the heroes observed the lifeless body of their companions and decided to move forward to complete their mission and before entering the room the murderer Greman checked the entrance in case there were still traps activated after a while of checking the entrance this determined that it was now safe to enter the room but a voice resounded in the room freezing the blood of the heroes.

"Humans always so meticulous and...awkward at the same time" (Unknown voice)

The voice was very deep and spoke with truths about humans the heroes in particular felt uncomfortable for a moment until one of the heroes shouted in the room his name was Alicia and was the cleric of the group.

"A demon like you has no right to say anything about us humans!" (Alice)

but when she speaked suddenly his head explodes into pieces leaving the other heroes in shock and the voice was heard again in the room.

"Raising your voice is impolite and more when you yell at someone older than you" (Unknown voice)

There were only five heroes standing and three of them were totally terrified. they had fought against armies of powerful demons but this was the first time that the heroes were terrified of dying and The hero Tinna spoke with a calm voice.

"It's impolite to attack someone without even showing up, so why do not you show up and fight like you really should and we're done with this at once!" (Tinna)

the voice echoed in the room one last time before Fral appeared in front of them.

"Finally you all talk as you should...now what if we make this last battle...A GLORIOUS ONE!?" (Fral)

The heroes stepped back instinctively, observing the six-meter demon in front of them whit 3 eyes on his face and two massive horns on protuding from his head and his red skin full of makrs like the ones on the walls and with ten arms each holding a huge red sword almost the same color as blood and a large tail full of black thorns.

Hours passed since the heroes had entered the mountain and the soldiers outside it were beginning to wonder if they had triumphed against the demon until a deafening roar shut all the people off the mountain.

Almost all the heroes had already died inside the mountain the last standing was Michael who was very badly wounded and watching Fral standing in front of him without a wound on his body that despite all his attacks the body of the demon was unable to be damaged until Micael made a last desperate act and shouted at the gods.

But these could not be heard since he was inside the mountain belonging to the demon at that time Micael decided to sacrifice himself forming a pact with his sacred sword that Zarthel himself had given him has made the pact giving his life as a price and the sword was destroyed in the process by locking the Fral demon in the abyss for all eternity.

An old man in a chair closed a book with many children in front of him while he smiled he said.

"But that's what the story says no one knows how exactly Fral was defeated or what happened to the heros"(Edwing)

Edwing was an old elf who was present in the war and had killed many minor demons and was currently singing the story that was written in a thick red cover book and when he finished the book he closed it watching the children in front of him and He said.

"Nobody knows in the end what happened to the heroes according to the book says that they died fighting but who really knows what is inside that mountain"(Edwing)

Most of the children were thinking about what might have happened inside the mountain until one of them with brown hair spoke saying a hypothesis that made the old man feel chills.

"Lord Edwing, you said that The Fral demon was a master in handling humans and turning them into servants, not...then is there a possibility that the heroes themselves became ... demons?" (Child)

The old Edwing felt chills as if the child said something really possible and terrifying that Fral was known to know how to control every living being but he answered the child's question wisely.

"But if it had really been like that, you and I would not be talking at this moment since he would have left the mountain and destroyed everything in his path until he annihilated us all...but very good hypothesis Lucas."(Edwing)

A young woman with golden hair wearing a brown dress with another piece of dark green covering the upper part of her body approached the old man and gave an order to the children.

"Alright kids go play and let Mr. Edwing enjoy his day!" (Magié)

The children quickly dispersed in all directions while the old elf laughed and he spoke to the young woman.

"Haha they are just curious childrens and of course someone like me who has lived for so many years would get their attention"(Edwing)

The young woman smiled and answered the old man again.

"We hope that this peace lasts many more years more every day the harvests are worse in this land, only a miracle will save us from the next winter" (Magié)

Elder Edwing spoke again.

"I'm sure the gods will help us, we should just have a little more faith. I feel everything will improve soon!" (Edwing)

both looked towards the distant fields full of houses while the soft breeze rocked the crops.
