Odd Feeling

On the top floor of Glory Trade Corporation, the cold boss man by the name of Tobias Itou walked into his office with his personal assistant Juno behind him jotting down notes.

Properly hanging his suit jacket onto the coat hanger near his polished desk, he leisurely takes his time loosening his tie wrapped around his elegant neck.

Juno watched as his boss prepared to look over the recent set of contracts with an unreadable expression.

He couldn't help but sigh at how hard his boss worked. He rarely received breaks and only finished with work after the sun had been down for hours.

He genuinely was worried for him but equally admired his boss.

Not every young businessman could work day and night signing contracts while managing his own company.

Passing Tobias the notes from today's meeting Juno walks to retreat back to his office when suddenly the door burst open with intense force.

"Tobias Itou you have a lot of explaining to do!" Alec charged into the office with a stern expression.

Witnessing the unemotional man merely sitting serenely in his seat - his head down reading from the stack of documents, Alec felt his upper lip twitch with annoyance.

"Hey, don't ignore me!" Alec complained, placing on a wronged expression.

The slightest twitch could be seen on the silent man's thick dark brows. Taking note of his bosses foul mood, Juno hurriedly turns toward Alec.

"Young Master Alec, I naturally understand you must have something to eagerly discuss with Mr. Itou," Juno begins carefully, nervous sweat pouring down his back. "But if it could just wait--"

"No way can this wait!" Alec interrupted almost immediately. "Tobias, how come you accepted Mimi as one of your employees?"

Once the young girl's name rolled off the annoying man's lips, Tobias's large hand tensed on the organized papers before he gazed up at the blond haired man.

"Juno, you're excused," Tobias promptly ordered with an indifferent gaze.

Appearing hesitant, Juno bobs his head as he then walks out of the man's office shutting the door.

As the door closed, Tobias stared back at the papers in his hand.

"Is that the reason you came into my office?" Tobias spoke while skimming a page.

Alec stared stunned for a moment. This man really wasn't fazed by anything.

"Yes of course it is!" Alec exclaimed fiercely. "How could you agree to hire her?"

"Do you object to her working for me?" Tobias lifts up his dark eyes towards the young man. His deep dark eyes quietly challenging him.

"Ah...not exactly it's merely…" Alec hesitated with his words. "It's unlike you to suddenly have taken an interest in someone's business propositions."

"En. That's true. However, she willingly offered quite a large result in her work." Tobias sighed gently leaning back in his chair. "I sincerely believe she has what it takes after all...not just anyone can become successful after crossing-dressing as an influential man for so long."

Alec chuckled nervously towards his words. Guess what Mimi said was right, he had figured out her true gender. And so quickly too...

However, he couldn't help but observe Tobias suspiciously. The reason for his sudden attentiveness towards his little sister made him curious.

Did he…

"I'm just worried for you employees honestly, Mimi can be reasonably..." Before Alec could complete his sentence a teasing voice disturbed him.

"My, my, Alec, slandering my name already?" A mischievous voice chuckled.

Alec's entire body became rigid as he heeded the familiar voice behind him.

"Haha...M-Mimi what are you doing here?" Alec stuttered nervously.

He was so screwed!

"I just thought I'd drop by my bosses office to discuss some things." The gothic girl walked further into the large office. "However, I didn't think I'd meet up with you here, how truly wonderful!"

Alec shuddered as he heard her tone. That couldn't be good.

"M-Mimi, I merely came to see Tobias that's all, nothing else!"

Twinkling her eyes rapidly in a dramatic matter, Mimi giggles while concealing her mouth.

"Hai, I reasonably believe you." Mimi laughed sarcastically.

Tobias, from whom the beginning watched the two interact, couldn't help but furrow his brows.

He couldn't help but find the two to look so familiar with one another. Not to mention Alec seemed slightly scared of the young girl…

A strange feeling tightened around his chest slightly. Weird. He loosened his tie thinking to get rid of the unusual sensation.

Thinking nothing much of it, he folded his arms on top of his desk while gazing at Mimi.

"How did things go?" He asked.

Shifting her attention towards the handsome man seated straightly in his chair. Mimi grinned a hint of tease clearly shown beneath those purple pupils.

She could faintly see the man's lightly tanned collarbone after he had loosened his tie.

Sigh...what a pleasant sight to see.

"It was quite...intriguing. I have to say I'm favorably impressed with your experienced staff." She praised lightly.

"En." Tobias merely nodded as if it were naturally a fact. "I reasonably hope to see worthy results from you soon."

"You have nothing to worry about boss!" Mimi smiled stabbing her fists into her hips. "I have absolute faith in my skills! The results will assuredly be to your satisfaction."

"En, good," Tobias grunted a faint smile forming at the corner of his lips.

Alec felt like he was in a dream. Or to be more precise an ultimate nightmare…

Never had he witnessed Tobias express so many words in a brief amount of time! Even with him continuously trying to spark a civil conversation, all he'd get as a response was a grunt or nod.

He even smiled! Or at least he thought he did.

Not just that but Mimi was clearly regarding the dignified man before her as a superior!

This was completely unjust treatment!

"Hey, Mimi what's with this different treatment!" Alec complained, pointing his finger accusingly towards Tobias.

Tobias merely arched both brows at his friend's accusing gaze.

Mimi gently turned towards Alec with furrowed brows and scoffed.

"Of course I'd give you two different treatment!" Mimi smiled wickedly. "Mr. Itou is my boss after all."

"That's not what I mean!" Alec refuted.

"Oh? Alright, I will. Of course…" An evil smirk naturally formed on her cherry lips. "That'll be when you're as successful as Mr. Itou where you powerfully build your own company with your own hands and fortunately possess half the portion of his fascinating looks!"

Both men's eyes widened towards her words. Alec had felt like his own little sister had highlighted all his apparent flaws in the harshest way possible.

Alright, alright he got it! It wasn't easy to compare one's mortal self to a beautiful god-like Tobias Itou!

He silently cried in his wounded heart - a gloomy cloud hovering over his shoulders.

Tobias, on the other hand, was utterly shocked towards the girl's highly spoken words.

He couldn't help but cough lightly trying his best to ignore the two. But her marked words rendered into his ears continuously.

He couldn't help but gently release a small smirk on his sensual lips. For some possible reason, that odd feeling he had felt before had disappeared...
