Her Fault

While the rest of the employees lowered their heads in embarrassment, Senior Su's composed expression slightly cracked.

"That may be true, but Ms. Mimi as an employee here and an intelligent person, wouldn't it be logical for you to conduct your…free time somewhere else, and not in a working environment?"

Mimi's expression remained indifferent but only she knew how much of a thrill she was receiving from Senior Su's biting and sharp words.

Holding back her evil smirk, Mimi's eyes hardened.

"Senior Su, is it?"

"Yes," Senior Su's brows furrowed.

"Right…" Mimi's voice softly lowered as her eyes drifted away to the floor.

Her purple eyes were untroubled as she tapped her slender finger against the arm of her chair.

A few seconds passed of mere silence passed before Mimi lifted her eyes and revealed a dull and glassy expression.

"Is there a point to this conversation?"

Not just Senior Su, but everyone else was stunned by Mimi's words.

Did…did she not understand the point of the entire conversation?

It was clear to anyone what Senior Su was trying to suggest, yet Mimi had seemingly appeared oblivious to her words.

Was this girl really a genius, or did that only imply to work and not social skills?

At this point, many had started to see Mimi as an intelligent being when it came to work, but as dense as a rock when it came to social interactions.

Mimi ignored everyone else's expressions and stared intently at Senior Su.

Almost there…Mimi chuckled as she observed the young woman's controlled expression contort into one of hatred. A rush of chills ran down Mimi's spine.

By now, Senior Su knew Mimi was merely mocking and waiting for her to ask her to leave, however, she knew in the eyes of others her actions at this point would appear harsh.

However, seeing the cold and dark glint in the girls' eyes, something snapped.

"Ms. Mimi…"

"What's going on here?"

Surprised by the familiar voice, Senior Su turned around and felt her back stiffen.

"M-Mr. Sato…" Senior lowered her head to hide the faint blush on her cheeks.

Mimi inwardly tsked at the man's presence. This guy always came around to ruin the fun!

Eli Sato walking toward the two, glanced at Senior Su for a brief moment before he turned to look at the lazily seated figure behind her.

Mimi didn't conceal the look of annoyance in her eyes and stared back at the attractive man with a pout. Eli's eyebrows rose at the girl's evident irritation toward him.

Ah, did he do something wrong?

"Is there a problem over here?" His eyes shifted toward Senior Su, a look of evident disappointment shone within his eyes.

Catching his expression, Senior Su felt her heart clench as she composed herself to express a look of calm.

She knew if she said there was, Eli would go to protect Mimi and claim she was right.

Because she was, everything she said was true and even if she acted as if she was oblivious to her words, she could have asked her in the beginning.

Knowing this somehow caused her heart to unknowingly blacken even further.

Biting back her reluctance Senior Su spoke in a soft tone, "No, there…"

"There is actually."

Senior swiftly shifted her eyes toward Mimi and gave her a piercing scowl.

Don't tell me she was going to tell him?

Eli frowned. "Really? Then do tell me."

"No, there's really no problem…" Senior Su tried cutting in but was interrupted by the young girl's following words.

"It's my fault."

At that moment everyone in the room froze and stared at the gothic girl.

What…What did she just say?
