A Meddlesome Loli Goddess, Part 3

Rie looked at the thick tome and sighed. "Are any of those necessary, even? They sound like things that those cheesy novels use as the solutions to gaping plot holes." The Goddess's excitement soured for a moment, and she shook her head. "You just don't get it, do you? This is the fun part. Why would you want to be ordinary? I can grant you an interesting life the for your second life."

"Although," she said, smiling to herself, "I could just pick for you. The basics- language, appraisal, and an item box." Rie watched the Goddess's expression carefully and shrugged. "I guess it's not too overpowered, then. I guess I'll take that." Agreeing easily, she hoped that nothing too odd would occur, given this Goddess Loli's apparent enthusiasm for cheats. It seemed that she deflated quite a bit in excitement at seeing her lack of interest, which assured Rie.

Not looking up, the Goddess Loli began to read out what seemed to be some kind of warning. "And so on and so forth, Rie of Earth, you hereby end your time on your Realm of Existence and will be put into a new one, in which you will not inhabit the same body or have the same face. It will be a land in which it is entirely possible to lose your life... that whole shtick." Closing the book sharply, she smiled widely, cutting off whatever else the would have that book warned Rie of.

"And so~~ Have fun~I'll be in touch later~!"

With that last line, Rie's sight went black again.
