The Birth of a Ghost Overlord

Guangru vanished, and the wooden vine steps collapsed. The ground started to tremble, and it was like an earthquake was hitting the whole place. Chuan Nayi gathered her wits and got to her feet, as much as everyone in the place. What Guangru did had countered the shadow woman's presence.

The woman growled as she waited for the other's attack. What surprised everyone in the room was that a single huge vine shot out of the ground and pierced through the shadow woman. She tried to block his attack with her arms, and yet she was quickly pierced as if it was a hot knife against butter.

An agonizing scream came from her as her chest was impaled, and she couldn't even make use of her arms. The big vine wrapped around her and crushed against her body. Upon feeling this massive pressure coming from the demon child, the woman only cried out again.
