Blood and Essence of Two Dragons

After running more than two hours, I finally made it out from the huge Mountain peak where I was before. Also, after leaving the mountain, I could sense a violent and powerful aura from within it. This aura had caused all the hair on my body to stand erect. If I am not mistaken, it must have been one of those powerful high-level beast living in the mountain range ahead.

" Big Brother let's go find a safe place so I can give you some of my blood and essence so you can refine it." Voiced Sylvia within my consciousness.

" Yeah, let's do that. I hope everything goes well." I Said with a slight smile on my face. I can't wait to see the changes in my body and how strong I will become after refining the blood and essence of Sylvia as well as scarlet.

In the Archaic Continent, pureblood dragons were all gone according to Sylvia. Scarlet and she should be the last descendants of true dragons throughout the whole Archaic continent. I am really fortunate to be able to refine the blood and essence of a true primordial divine beast.

As I was walking through the forest, I suddenly stopped and looked back as my eyebrows slightly furrowed. I carefully surveyed my surrounding and still can't find anything out of the ordinary. I used the minimap to see if there's anybody following me, but there was nobody, just some red dots far away. Nonetheless, I still couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. It was as if I was being followed by someone. Not only now, but ever since I woke up from the forest after Fallen down the cliff years ago, I had that feeling. I thought I was just being too paranoid back then and decided to stop thinking about it. However, now I was able to faintly sense a presence behind me. I can feel that I am being watched closely but I still can't find the person as if he was invisible.

" Is everything ok big brother?" Said Sylvia with a concerned voice after seeing me looking everywhere as if I was looking for something.

" Sylvia, have you ever had the feeling of being watch by someone while venturing through the magical beasts forest with me," I Said with a hint of anticipation in my voice. If Sylvia has the same feeling, then my worries weren't groundless and it wasn't just in my head. However, Sylvia's answer would make feel worse and It's like I was the only one feeling that way.

" No, not at all, do you, big brother." Said, Sylvia, while staring at me with a questioning look on her face.

" No, I was just casually asking. Let's go meet with scarlet ahead and find a safe place to stay." I Said while dashing towards scarlet's location. If that person or thing watching us wanted to harm me, he would have done it long ago. Let's wait and see, one way or another he will have to reveal himself to me.

After traveling and venturing for more than six years through the magical beast forest, I became very familiar with it, especially the places that I have been before. Because of that, I moved with ease within the forest. In less than ten minutes, I already found scarlet and went to a small cave that I have dug months ago within a small mountain peak. The small cave was surrounded by bushes and trees trunk. It would be very difficult for someone or a beast to discover its existence unless they knew it was already there. After I entered the small cave, I used an Earth magic spell to seal the entrance and left some small holes in order for the air to get in. After finishing all this, I took a deep sigh of relief and summoned scarlet out of my Pet space. Unlike Sylvia, scarlet like to stay in the Pet space if she isn't hunting on her own. For some reason, scarlet has become more quiet than usual as days pass. She doesn't talk much anymore not even with me or Sylvia. She has this air of destruction and evil around her that creeps me out sometime.

" Sylvia are you sure about giving big brother our blood and essence so he could refine them." As soon as scarlet came out , those of the first word that came out from her mouth through my consciousness. her voice had started to become colder and void of any emotion as she gets stronger. It seemed like her dark energy has some influence on her personality. By the way, when they want to include me in their conversation, they use my sea of consciousness as a catalyst device to transmit their information which allowed me to hear everything as well.

" What's wrong scarlet." Before Sylvia could even answer scarlet's question, I interrupted her. Even though I really want to get stronger by refining their blood and essence, I won't do it if it's going to jeopardize their health or harms them in any way.

" Big brother , even though it is forbidden to pass down or giving away our blood and essence to a human being or to any other creature, I would still give to you as it would increase your strength. Despite having this weird contract like master and servant between us, you've never treated us as such. Plus, our bloodline was able to return to its ancestral root because of you, we considered you as our parents as you have raised us and took care of us. Unlike humans, dragons value bloodline a lot as it determine your standing within the Dragon race. Due to the purity of our bloodline, my sister and I belong to the Imperial Dragon Family of the dragon race which is in the higher plane. Although it is very dangerous to refine our blood and essence, the real danger is that if it were to be known by the true dragon race in the higher plane, you will suffer their chase down and won't rest until they slaughter you and retrieve their bloodline once you ascend." Said scarlet with a hint of worry in her voice despite her cold and icy way of talking.

" I will protect big brother if he ever ascends and won't let anybody hurt him not even the Imperial Dragon Family. Beside you, I only have one family member and it is my big brother." Said Sylvia with confidence and determination.

" I feel the same way too but you already know how powerful those old fogies are through your inheritance memory." Voiced scarlet.

" Hey, girls stop arguing. Scarlet, I know that you mean well and I am very touched because of your concern for my safety and all, however, you don't have to worry about that now. Plus, this is between the three of us, there's no way I'll let any other true dragons know that. I don't even know if I will ever encounter a pureblood dragon." I Said with a slight smile on my face. I felt a warm sensation in my heart when I heard that Sylvia and scarlet viewed me as their only family member.

" hehe, big brother you will see a lot of them. I know for certain that you won't stay in this low-level plane for long." Said Sylvia with a mischievous smile through my consciousness as if she knew something I didn't. Sylvia and scarlet know many things that I don't know through their inheritance memory. Also, they have their own secrets. I've never bothered to ask them about what they know. if they feel like telling me, then my ears are wide open.

" Ok then, let's do this," I Said with a hint of excitement in my voice.

"Fine." Said scarlet.

They both closed their eyes, and a golden brilliance burst out from their body as it increased a little. They opened up their mouths and then spat out some golden blood. My eyes lit up and I couldn't help but swallow a mouthful of saliva when I saw the two small drops of golden blood hovering in the air. Looking at the two strange drops of golden blood floating in the air, for a time I didn't know how to react. I felt an inexplicable overbearing pressure coming from the small drops of golden blood. They were emanating a fluorescent golden light as they were hovering in the air.

Without wasting any more time, I strengthened my resolve, grabbed the blood with my hands and swallowed them.

*Bang*

Once the blood and essences of scarlet, as well as Sylvia, entered my body, a truly incomparable mighty pure energy immediately spread out throughout every inch of my body. The Gamer's Godship within my sea of consciousness was buzzing with excitement as the blood and essences of the two primordial divine dragons entered my body. The bloodline of a true dragon was one of the most powerful bloodlines in this world and contained a lot of pure energy which was what I just needed the most. I concentrated and started to begin absorbing the blood and essences of the two dragons.

*Buzz*

Another buzzing sound resonated out of the gamer's Godship as a golden light covered my whole body as if I was a heavenly or celestial being.

While I was listening to violet's voice within my consciousness and feeling the surge of power within my body, suddenly, pain exploded all over my body. But the pain wasn't some kind of ordinary pain, it was the kind of pain of having every single of your internal organs beings crushed, it was a pain from the depths of the bones.

" Ahhhhhhhhh."

I screamed painfully for a brief moment and fell to the ground from my meditative stance with my body bent like a shrimp. I spat a mouthful of blood and was breathing heavily. I felt like there was a battle between scorching lava and a mountain of ice within my body. Rather than blood, I felt like there were only a lava stream and a cold liquid flowing within my veins.

"Ughhhhhhhhh." No matter how hard I tried to be tough, I couldn't help but scream in pain again.

The pain kept on increasing as the two golden blood released a stream of golden lines that spread out throughout my whole body, my chest, my hands, my legs, face, ears, pupils, bones and even my Crushing internal organs.

I felt a stabbing pain throughout my whole body as if I was being stabbed by tens of thousands of sharp knives or needles. My entire body started to shake tremendously while I was curling in pain in the ground. My vision started to become blurry as a stream of golden blood appeared within them.

While I was screaming and rolling around on the ground in pain, scarlet and Sylvia were looking at me with their eyes filled with worries and concern.

" Violet what's going on with my body." I hurriedly sent a mental message to violet. She is the gamer's Godship spirit which resides within my body. if anyone knows what's happening within my body that's her.

" Host, before you were just absorbing some of the dragon's blood but now the essences of the dragons are trying to devour some of the human organs, blood while altering them as well as producing new ones in order for your body to be suitable to inherit both of the dragons innate abilities. Not only that , the two blood and essences are very different from one another as they contain the power of two opposite magical elements. The two bloods and essences will change the interior as well your outer appearance." Conveyed Violet within my consciousness.

Despite the pain , I started to freak out after hearing violet's last sentence. Even though I want to be powerful , I don't want to look like a freak.

" ughhhhhhhhhh."

" F...ckkkkkk."

Another wave of pain emanated from a force digesting the inside of my body. The indescribable pain continued without showing any sign of stopping soon. This pain had far surpassed a human's capability. I felt like I was going to lose my consciousness however, I gritted my teeth and endured it. If this blood and essence are able to increase my power drastically, then even if it's five times more painful, I would definitely do it and endure it.

After the stream of golden line finished destroying and altering my internal organs and muscles, some of them seep within my bones. I felt like my bones were being sliced open as the golden lines were digging into them. At the same time, there was a layer of gold wrapped around them. I laid down on the ground unable to move a finger. Nonetheless, I kept on struggling to maintain my awareness. One must know, internal pain is much more painful than external. Soon the pain subsided a little as the two energy within my body merged into one and sending a wave of pure energy throughout my whole body. At the same time, a bunch of bizarre scales began to emerge from within my body as they split my clothes. I clearly saw those scales on my thigh as well as my arms.

Suddenly, the pain rose again as two sharp horns erupted forth from my forehead as well as a black scaled draconic tail which slowly began to bulge out from my tailbone.

" What the heck." I couldn't help but cursed while witnessing this sight as I tried to stand up.

*Thud*

However, before I could even finish witnessing the changes of my outer body, I collapsed on the ground as I passed out from mental exhaustion.
