The Grand Duke

Somewhere far away

Inside an incomparably large main hall, a cold and dark solemn aura could be felt. This huge main hall was part of a palace. The palace itself was very high, it was over fifteen meters tall, the scale itself was truly excessively big. The ground of the main hall was covered with a red carpet with a complex design. Besides the huge chair like throne facing the entrance door located at the end point of the main hall, there wasn't any other kind of furniture. This main hall seemed like a throne room yet not, there wasn't any real decoration inside of any kind. The odd thing was, the huge chair was also painted red, the same color as the red carpet.

With a single glance, one could see that this place was completely empty. Even though it was such a large hall, there was only one single person there, a single red hair woman. She didn't look old but around her early twenties. She sat in the huge chair with both of her eyes wide open looking at the door as if she was expecting someone. She wore a simple red clothe. Her long red hair was like a waterfall, Snow White skin, slightly pursed pink lips that were like fresh petal and a completely incomparable beautiful face.

Her eyes were black, not soulless nor lifeless but instead, Pride, coldness, and fierceness could be seen in her eyes. Her eyes were like a bottomless pool of darkness as it depth resembled that of a black hole. One could see through her eyes how she felt about the world, dark and cold. Her black eyes were emanating an air of eeriness and unsettling coldness as she was gazing at the door. She was truly beautiful and anyone who saw her would lose their mind and filled with the desire to ravish her if it weren't for those dark cold eyes that would send chills down anyone's spine.

The simple red clothes on her were little compact and tightly fitted against her perfect body. Even though she was sitting on the chair, it's perfectly clear that she was a woman with a stunning figure.

The door of the main hall was pushed open as three individuals entered the room. The walked towards the women sitting on the chair, as they got closer, they stood in front of the women with their right hand across their chests and bent down on one knee before her with their forehead hanging downwards.

" We pay our respect to the Grand Duke." Simultaneously said the three individuals.

One of them was a bulk muscular man wearing a black robe. His eyebrows were sharp as swords and starlike eyes. His brows were slightly knit as he had an anxious look on his face. The other was a woman wearing black clothes as well, she looked very beautiful but compare the red clothed woman sitting on the throne, her beauty was pale in comparison or not worthy of mentioning. As for the last one, it was actually a beast, more precisely a lycanthrope. It looked like a huge werewolf with black furs and over ten feet tall. The funny thing was, he was wearing a black robe as well. The look on their faces and the aura emanating from their bodies as they entered the main hall, all suggested immense strength which confirmed that all three individuals were very powerful. However, the minute they got closer to the woman in red and knelt down, all their strong aura and arrogance disappeared into puff smoke. Their faces all became cautious and solemn, like a student that had just seen a stern teacher.

The red clothes woman just sat there looking down upon the three of them with disdainful eyes, then she shifted her gaze towards the lycanthrope kneeling in front of her. None of them dare to raise their head to look at her in the eyes, However, they all could feel her powerful gaze as she was looking at them. Being stared down by those eyes, the three of them felt as if their bodies were being pricked by a sharp sword, especially the lycanthrope because the woman was especially looking at him when he was entering the main hall.

The red clothes woman didn't say anything, even after the three individuals saluted her.

'Fwoosh'

Suddenly, the woman pointed her index finger towards the lycanthrope and a ball of black energy materialized on her index fingertip, the black ball of energy was getting bigger and bigger until it became as big as a soccer ball. Furthermore, the black ball of energy was being intertwined by a jet black lightning making a bunch of sizzling sounds. The greedy black ball of energy was corroding the air around it and swallowing it. As the ball of darkness was getting bigger, an air of destruction enveloped the entire room.

Feeling this type of energy pointing at them, none of them dared to make a sound or looked at the red clothes woman. They didn't even attempt to protect themselves, they just knelt down in front of her while cold sweat was dripping down their faces. They were trying so hard to mask the fear in their hearts, but the expressions on their faces betrayed them as the fear of that red clothes woman pointing that jet black ball of energy towards them traveled into their veins to their facial muscles or skin.

'Swish'

'Bang'

In a split second, the ball of darkness flew out the woman's fingertip faster than a bullet and slammed against the upper body lycanthrope. The ball of darkness didn't pierce through his body nor exploded, but instead sunk into his body. it's like the lycanthrope's body had absorbed the ball of darkness.

"AH———."

Suddenly, a pitiful scream that could cause one's eardrums to burst can be heard, the lycanthrope was lying and rolling on the ground in pain. The other two individuals didn't seem to be affected by the ball of darkness, they stayed in the same position and didn't dare to look at the woman nor the screaming lycanthrope. The gut-wrenching screams of pain continued as the lycanthrope was rolling on the ground. The blood vessels and organs of the lycanthrope were being ripped apart, twisted together and became like a pile of bloodied mush by the black energy.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!"

The lycanthrope gave a horrific scream as his organs began to rupture and explode, rolling around in pain. However, no matter how much he screamed and yelled, the pain didn't stop but instead became more intense.

As for the woman in red, she was watching him rolling on the ground in pain with a slight smile on her face, listening to the miserable shouts beside her ears that were like they came from hell was like the best symphony for her. There wasn't a hint of sympathy or pity on her unrivaled beautiful face, instead, she looked like she was enjoying it.

" Explode." She said in cold voice. It was the first time she talked ever since those three individuals came inside the main hall. Her voice was cold and voided of any emotions.

*Bang*

Under her command, The body of the lycanthrope exploded into multiple small pieces of meat. Whether it was his head, hands or any other parts of his body turned into minced meats. It was truly a messy and disgusting scene. Blood sprayed like fireworks and a scalding rain of morselized flesh fell onto the faces and shoulders of the two people present on scene. However, not a single person dared to wipe anything off, forget stopping it.

This was just a casual strike from the woman in red, a causal strike that had completely annihilated the lycanthrope that was emanating a powerful and oppressive aura as he was entering the main hall.

" I dislike it when that small puppy comes in front of me in his true form." Said the woman with an icy voice.

After she took care of the lycanthrope, her disdainful gaze swept over the other two, as if she was looking at two incredibly weak ants.

" Have your troops left for that place yet." Said the woman

"Yeah, they should arrive by dawn." Answered the man in black respectfully as he woke up from this terror.

" for your sake, I hope they went prepare because I'm pretty sure the other Grand Dukes have made their move as well." Said the woman in a soft voice, yet the iciness in her voice was unmask-able

"Finally, the Deva eyes skill has risen to level 10, I was stuck at that level 9 for quite some time now," I Said to myself as I opened my eyes with a delightful expression on my face.

As I waiting for it be dark outside so I can make my move, I was kinda bored and decided to train my Deva eyes skill. The Deva eyes skill was one of the hardest skill to level up, one mental fortitude and concentration must be pretty strong in order to practice this skill. After the Deva eyes skill has leveled up a level, not only did the range has increased, I was able to last a little bit longer while using it.

Looking out the window, it was already dark outside, I was so engrossed in training my Deva eyes skill, that I didn't realize how much time has passed.

Ohh shit I almost forgot about them, ever since I came to Iron fist city, I haven't taken little red or Sylvia out. Seeing the blue screen pop in front of me, I felt a little guilty, not for little red but Sylvia. Ever since I came back, I promised her that I will show her around more and let her eat all kind of delicacies, but so far I haven't done any of those things yet and I don't think I will be able to that now, especially with sudden turn event.

The world was ever changing and no one could ever predict what would happen next. Nothing's absolute, I've made many plans after I got back from the magical forest, yet I wasn't able to implement any of them. Nonetheless, I was not going to give up or get mad because of that, I won't let those things slowed me down because it was also these unpredictable ups and downs that forged a person's destiny. The moment I was reborn into this world with the gamer's Godship within me, was a major turning point in my destiny.

" Sylvia and little Red, come out."

Without wasting any more time, I took Sylvia and little Red out of the Pet space. The two of them appeared in front of me out of nowhere.

" you this bastard, are you trying to starve me to death, and also where are all the pretty ladies you promised this granddaddy." Said little red Furiously.

" Stopped yelling you stupid monkey, it's not like a day without eating will kill you, also when did I promise you a bunch of pretty girls?."

" Wha did you say, that's animal abuse."

" I thought you said that I shouldn't call you an animal."

" Of course I'm not an animal."

"..."

" just stopped it little red, that's not big brother fault, he must have been pretty busy." Voiced Sylvia who was already on top of my shoulder.

" but....."

"Do you want me to call Scarlet over?"

As soon as little red heard Sylvia mentioned Scarlet's name, it became quiet. Little red was truly afraid of scarlet, he was so terrified that whenever he thought of her, his body couldn't help but start to tremble slightly. She was the only one he feared, the only one who could reprimand him, and the only one he listened to. He knew that I won't harm him that's why he could talk back to me, as for Scarlet, well, he didn't dare.

After they came out, I briefly explained everything that happened to them. Even though the reaction wasn't the same as the People In Iron fist city after knowing the doomsday wasn't far ahead, they were still afraid, especially little red. I comforted them a little and told them everything's going to alright. After talking to them for awhile, I packed my things and go to the living room to get the Ice Queen because it was time to leave.
