"Where am I if not in hell?"
"Eh?" Shu Himo was shocked, how is possible to talk underwater? Perhaps...
"This is an illusion! It's a test of my will?"
The old man was shocked: 'Shu Himo found out? How is possible that he found out this fast? But, if it was enough to find out that it's an illusion to escape from it there would already be someone who took this violin! Let's see what you are truly capable, Shu Himo!'
Enchanting the music and fastening the tempo, the place where Shu Himo found himself changed again.
Everything in the sea immediately became extremely cold, and the water was slowly becoming ice, with Shu Himo trapped within. While the Banalis as ghosts had no such problems, and could directly attack Shu Himo.
Shu Himo, seeing that he could almost not move and that a Banalis was getting closer to slash him, had to think of a plan.
Deep in thought for a moment, he finally realized how to beat this place: as this is an illusion, he just has to break it! But how...
Shu Himo formulated his plan and then looked resolutely toward the Banalis that was getting closer to him. He waited that the Banalis would get closer to him, and, after a couple moments, when the Banalis was barely a meter of distance, he looked at it as it were trash, proclaiming in his mind that the existence itself of the Banalis was a nuisance and had to get rid of it.
Immediately, Shu Himo saw then in the illusion the Banalis getting slowly torn off, exploding away, vanishing in an instant.
Meanwhile, the hiding old man was startled! What was that? An overpowered will that gave a perfect will image, capable of shattering every single illusion! How is that even fair?
Naturally, he would never imagine that Shu Himo was one of the best lucid dreamers in his former world, as he always considered his old world boring he lucid dreamed myriad of times, possessing an incredible control of his dreams and slowly built his futuristic-like kingdom of the dreams. If the size of the Kingdom he created in his dreams had to be compared to the Kingdom of Arsia then it was at least 100 times bigger, there is no way someone with such control would lose himself in an illusion!
Just as the old man was calming down, he saw Shu Himo moving his hands, pointing his finger toward the ice.
*Boom*
Every part of the ice immediately exploded away, leaving only the water that was not frozen yet.
This was another hard hit on the heart of the old man: all the hard work in his life was beaten by pointing? How could he let that happen!
Immediately lowering the tempo of the music, he changed again the location where Shu Himo is!
Now Shu Himo found himself in the middle of a volcano, ready to erupt! Feeling the heat coming from the magma about to melt himself, he snorted, creating an incredible pressure toward the existence itself of the magma!
The magma of the volcano immediately vanished, and leaving only empty below him, Shu Himo started falling, but in a couple moments, he could be seeing floating! He destroyed the existence itself of the gravity in this world!
This left the old man speechless: are you acting like a god now that you are in an illusion?
Aren't you supposed to be the prey of the illusion, why does it feel more like the illusion is your prey instead? Is this my test or your playground?
Starting to doubt the meaning of his own life the old man this time got angry and decided to start being serious! Increasing the tempo of the music to a speed that no human could reach, he started creating a multitude of situations.
Suddenly, Shu Himo found himself surrounded by magma, ice, and even a sun that was forming close to him! At this rate, he would get slowed by the ice and then burned by the sun!
If it was another person they would have no way to resist this, but Shu Himo was different!
Moving slightly his hands and arms, he created a void space around him, sealing himself from the rest of the illusion! The void space then slowly started to obtain territory, absorbing the forming sun, the magma, and the ice!
Now Shu Himo obtained complete control over 30% of the illusion!
This situation left the old man traumatized, he now felt the one tested instead! Still not giving up, he decided to create a special arrow only seen in legends: the Lightning Arrow! Said that such arrow can pass through everywhere and instantly, he started forming them and shoot them toward Shu Himo!
Even a Nascent Soul realm would be powerless against such arrows!
Feeling the threat from the Arrows, Shu Himo immediately created small black spheres around him.
This left the old man extremely puzzled: what are those spheres? As he had no time to think about it he immediately shot more than a thousand arrows toward Shu Himo, creating an attack comparable to a Longevity realm cultivator, capable of destroying everything.
Sadly for him, every arrow immediately bent and went inside the black spheres, getting crushed instantly due to the sheer pressure on it. Startled, he was about to ask what those black spheres are when he heard the voice of Shu Himo:
"Black Holes. The absurd gravity capable to even stop light itself, there is no way mere arrows can get close to it." Smiling, he then said, "So, I guess I won? Right?" This left the old man speechless, how can this child know what a black hole is? Even he himself did not know it! He now had no choice to say otherwise and had to surrender.
"Kekeke, indeed, you won! I will now teach you how to use the violin to its full capabilities!"
