Being Tired Is Not a Good Thing [C120]

The next day.

Waking up, the usual scene was presented in front of Shu Himo. The scene of a sweet smile that gives him a good morning.

"Good morning, Phylia."

"Good morning, Master!"

Standing up, the first thing that Shu Himo did was to control again the exact position of the area signaled by the quest, closing his eyes and thinking, 'Map!'

In his sight, appeared the Shu Kingdom, including the former territories of the Remir Kingdom.

Looking toward the north area, Shu Himo noticed a perfectly circular area covered in fog, surrounded by an enormous mountain range. The signal that the system gave to reach the gem was aimed at the middle of the circle.

There appeared to be only two entrances toward the area, but they were both controlled by a small fortified city as if trying to stop anyone from entering there.

Confirming the location, Shu Himo nodded to himself and reopened his eyes, which were filled in curiosity, 'Who know what kind of place that is…'

Yet, they were quickly replaced by a frown, 'We may need two whole days of running to reach it, it's quite far...'

Standing up, he quickly prepared himself and then went outside of his room, walking toward Aura Azusa's door.

*Knock*

"Azusa, are you awake?" Looking toward the sky, Shu Himo noticed that it was already late in the morning, so he was surprised when he didn't receive any answer, "Where is she?"

Puzzled, he was about to look for her when he suddenly heard from behind, "Good morning!"

Turning around, he saw Aura Azusa walking toward himself and replied, "Good morning Azusa, where did you go?"

Hearing his question she just smiled, "I just took a walk around the capital to clear my mind, nothing special."

"I see."

"So, where are we going, did you decide?"

"We will go toward the north, there is something I need to take from there."

"North?" She was surprised, what could there be toward north that was worth getting? However, she still nodded, as she did not mind it.

"Yes, let's go!"

Shu Himo then informed the others that he was starting a trip, and strictly warned Du Kun and Tao Chao to establish peacefulness in the Kingdom.

Afterward, the three walked outside of the Kingdom, exiting from the north gate.

-----

Mid-night, in a village of the ex-Remir Kingdom.

Examining the village, Shu Himo was surprised, it was completely different from the ones he saw until now, appearing with a way more stable economy.

The commoners weren't risking to die due to hunger and were instead living quite well, with medium-sized houses, that appeared as good as new.

'It appears that the Remir Kingdom was way richer than the Shu Kingdom.'

[The scale of strength between the two Kingdoms was way too large.]

'Indeed, they could easily impose some taxes toward the other Kingdoms with their strength.'

Having analyzed the situation in the villages of the new territories, the three continued running without stopping. They were once again racing against each other, trying to reach the small fortified city before the others.

-----

The next day. Evening.

Having run for two whole days, both Shu Himo and Aura Azusa fell on the ground, completely tired.

*Huff* *Huff*

Taking heavy breaths, they tried to rest a bit, but the tiredness generated from almost two days of running was too much, even after many minutes of rest.

Phylia as always was relaxed as if she didn't run, earning the first place once again.

"Someday… I will win…" Both Shu Himo and Aura Azusa swore to themselves, how could they lose every time? Wouldn't that be embarrassing?

Looking up, they saw the gate of the city, exhibiting a feeling of oppression toward anyone, being high over 50m completely in metal, warning anyone to not dare break through. The gate presented some weird black signs and a small green pattern on it.

Completely uncaring of the authoritative aspect of the gate, both Shu Himo and Aura Azusa had in mind a single thing: "A place to rest!"

Even if they were still far from the gate, at that moment the guards began shivering suddenly, what was this feeling? Panicking they all entered in formation, ready to defend from an enemy attack.

Suddenly, three children came in their sight startling all of them, it was their fault? That's not possible... thinking that they relaxed again, however seeing their behaviors they were dumbfounded, what are they doing?

Both Shu Himo and Aura Azusa were slowly walking step per step toward the gate, with creepy smiles on their face, as if they were starving wolfs staring at their prey.

"Let us enter." With an authoritative tone, completely different from his appearance, Shu Himo immediately ordered toward the guards.

However, how could the guards just let enter someone like that?

"Identify yourself!"

Taking out the [Maximum Honorary Seal - Supreme Grade] and showing it at them, Shu Himo replied, "I am Shu Himo, from the Shu Kingdom, I have conquered your Remir Kingdom a couple days ago so I will give you now an order. Quickly give us the best room to sleep tonight, we are too tired right now."

Hearing him, the guards were dumbfounded, from where did this lunatic come out? The leader of the guards quickly ordered, "Take him to the prison, we will see if he will still say such absurdities!"

Shu Himo was dumbfounded, "Are we really doing this right now? I'm too tired right now..." With a voice filled in disbelief, he drowsily looked at the guards who were taking out their weapons.

However, the guards wore serious expressions, having a bad feeling seeing Shu Himo's nonchalance.

Sighing, Shu Himo blamed the system, 'System, it's all your fault!'

[How?!]
