The next day.

Waking up, a scene different from usual was present in front of Shu Himo. Other than the usual sweet smile from Phylia, on the other part of the bed, there was Aura Azusa.

"Good morning, Phylia, Azusa."

"Good morning, Master!"

"Good morning…"

As Aura Azusa got up from the bed, her celestial blue hair swept across her face, revealing her red eyes.

Seeing her Shu Himo could not help but be surprised at her cuteness… completely different from what happened the night before.

The night before, upon the sight of the inviting bed, both of them could not help but jump directly on it, being way too tired and not wanting to wait another moment to sleep…however, noticing that they were both jumping on the only bed in the room, they frowned and began fighting over it.

Only after a couple of minutes of desperate struggle, they could not keep fight anymore and both collapsed on the bed, falling asleep in the middle of the destroyed room.

"That was one of the longest rest I had in a while… it's already afternoon…" Looking through the destroyed ceiling, Shu Himo could see that the sun was already in the middle of the sky.

"Afternoon…" Looking dazedly toward the sky, Aura Azusa was stunned, she always woke up early, it was a new thing for her sleeping until late.

"Let's prepare." Said that, Shu Himo walked to another room to prepare himself.

Aura Azusa nodded, and also went in another room to prepare herself, she surely could not change her clothes in the middle of a destroyed room.

Phylia waited quietly for a couple minutes, and then both Shu Himo and Aura Azusa came back in her sight.

"Let's go." Hearing Shu Himo she nodded, and the three walked toward the house of the commander of the guards, which asked them the day before to come there upon waking up.

*Knock*

Knocking the front door, they didn't need to wait a single minute that the commander quickly opened the door.

"Come inside, please." Assuming a subservient attitude, the commander appeared in the eyes of the trio as a spineless guy.

'Why is he acting like that?'

[Anyone who saw what happened yesterday would act like that.]

'What happened yesterday... you mean how I overwhelmed those guards?'

Smiling, knowing that he managed to startle him he walked inside the house, "So about what do you need to talk with us?"

"Please sit down in a chair, I only have a couple of questions... also, would you want some tea?" Indicating the table surrounded with many chairs, he then walked to prepare the tea before they could answer.

This left the three puzzled, what was he going to do?

A minute later, he came back with a teapot full of tea. Pouring the tea in four glasses, he then looked toward them, "May I ask if you could kindly repeat what happened in the capital?"

However, instead of answering the three simply stared at him.

Under their gazes, he felt heavily pressurized, what was going on? Realizing quickly the problem, he took his own glass and drank the tea, "I didn't put poison, no need to worry."

While with his calm reply he appeared composed on the outside, he was actually covered in cold sweat, 'You must be joking! I'm not crazy enough to poison you, I do not want yet to die…'

Convinced, Shu Himo took the glass and drank a bit of tea, and then calmly nodded, "Indeed, some days ago we conquered the Remir Kingdom's capital, so from now on every territory of the earlier Remir Kingdom, is now part of the Shu Kingdom."

Hearing their reply the heart of the commander trembled, did they destroy the whole capital or did they manage to hold themselves back?

Not daring to fall in that line of thought, he asked, "May I ask what did you come here for? This is nothing but a normal city… wait, it can't be, are you here to go in that place?"

"That place? You mean that area surrounded by the mountain range?" Shu Himo was surprised, was that considered a forbidden place?

Nodding grimly, the commander explained, "I do not have idea of what there is in that place, however, the reason this city exists is just to stop people from going there… who want to go in that place require the permission from the person which stands in guard of the west gate…"

"Who is that person?"

Hearing the question from Shu Himo, the commander shivered, "I'm extremely sorry, but I prefer not to talk about him… I don't want to risk my life like this."

Shu Himo was puzzled, who could be that caused such fear on a Nascent Soul expert? A Longevity Realm perhaps?

He was now even more curious about this mysterious person and could not wait, "Let's go to meet this mysterious person!" Smiling, he began walking outside and waved back his hand, "Bye bye, commander!"

Both Aura Azusa and Phylia also said goodbye to the commander and walked away.

Seeing that they walked away, a guard walked up to the commander, "Was it fine to just let them go like that?"

Hearing the guard the commander felt his back covered in cold sweat and shivered, quickly turning toward the guard, "Let them go like that?! It is them who are letting us go like that! You have no idea what happened yesterday when they saw that bed..."
