Chapter 11- Sleepy Bai Bao

The moon shined brightly late at night, a light breeze caused the trees to rustle, other than that, everything was calm. Then suddenly, "Achoo!", a sneeze was heard from inside the forest.

"Huh? Is someone talking about me?" Liqin rubbed the tip of her nose as she looked around confused.

"Whatever, Bai Bao let's go take a rest, I'm tired now."

Liqin collected Bai Bao into her arms and flew up onto a branch of a large maple tree using her qing gong. Once she landed, she sat down and looked at the shining moon while holding Bai Bao against her chest.

"Xiao Bao, these past few days have been uneventful haven't they? The only thing interesting was that god… I wonder what he's doing in the mortal realm."

Bai Bao looked up at his mistress with concerned eyes while thinking, 'Ahhh why does mistress keep bringing up that no good god? Doesn't she know it's dangerous to even think about them?"

As Bai Bao was about to warn Liqin about the dangers of gods once again, he heard light snoring coming from his mistress. 'Sigh, mistress already said that she will never like a god, I suppose I will trust her.'

The sun was barely rising when Liqin awoke from her slumber, "Hehe Xiao Bao, last night was a pretty good sleep wasn't it?"

What responded to her was a loud snore from a tiny tiger. Liqin's face scrunched up as she pinched the little tiger's cheeks. "Hey Xiao Bao, why are you sleeping so much? Such a lazy spirit beast."

Bai Bao knocked away Liqin's fair hand with his tiny paws as he groggily woke up. In a cute sleepy voice, he replied, "Mistress, I'm a cat who needs cat naps, please don't disturb me anymore."

And with that the little tiger closed his eyes again, completely ignoring his mistress.

Liqin looked at the small little tiger and her face began to soften, "Tsk fine if you want to sleep then sleep, I don't know why I picked up such a lazy spirit beast 3,000 years ago."

With a final pat on Bai Bao's head, Liqin crossed her legs and began to cultivate.

Once Liqin opened her eyes again, it was already mid-day. She heard several people talking below her and her red lips turned downward into a pout. "Who is disturbing my cultivation?"

Liqin's sharp eyes immediately found a group of men under the tree she was currently sitting on.
