Xiandi remained silent as he set there trembling.


She was right! He was the weakest of all the spiritual beasts. Even the Grand Monkey was at a higher rank than he was, especially after the fight with this demon which heavily injured all twelve Divine Beasts. 


Shi Rong heaved a heavy sigh and frowned. She allowed her anger to get the best of her and exploded letting out all her frustrations.


Xiandi slowly rose to his feet. His long silver hair hung down his face as he stared at the ground with an unreadable expression.


"Little girl this meek tiger will try and do better in the future, so allow me to properly serve you."


Shi Rong was stunned to the point of becoming speechless.


Xiandi trembled slightly  as he spoke, "I wish to become stronger as well to help you take over not only the Four Peak Mainlands but the entire world!"


Shi Rong took a step back at his sudden explosion of passion and determination. She felt slightly guilty about her harsh words towards him, but quickly swallowed down the feeling eating away at her.


Xiandi dared not to cross the line again with his master. He stood there with his head still bowed with a meek expression as he chewed on his bottom lip.


"Goddammit she easily caught onto my rank and even figured out I was the weakest of all the Heavenly Divine Spiritual Beast! I need to prove myself I can't be weak forever or I will forever become a stepping stone for others and I'll be damned if I was made into a stepping stone for this little girl. I will regain my position as most powerful even if I have to use the help of this little girl to get there. I WILL BECOME STRONGER!" Xiandi vowed internally as he stared transfixed at the ground clutching his hand into a tight fist.


Suddenly Xiandi bolted away as he quickly left the two alone once more.


Shi Rong stared confused at his  sudden fleeting figure.


Ling Yiyao glanced at Shi Rong and quickly pulled her into his embrace.


His warm arms caused her to instantly relax as her face turned a bright red from his sudden movement.


"My Lady you are tense such bad feelings are not good for the soul so allow me to cleanse and ease your emotions."
