Relentless Overlord General

Her soul filled with a deep sadness from the doors sudden disappearance. She couldn't help but feel troubled. 


The cave instantly returned back to normal appearing as if the door has never appeared. She examined the ground looking for any clue for it's appearance but nothing was out of place.


Shi Rong reluctantly continued forward but pondered slightly about the origins of the door with a feeling she has seen the door before.


The cave grew cold as she walked deeper. Snow began to cover the ground as the ground began to freeze with every step she took. She shivered as she pulled her red robes closer to her body. Without any spiritual power she was vulnerable to the sudden unnatural nature shifts in the cave.


Shi Rong walked towards a small frozen lake where the wind howled fiercely and the snow spiraled wildly. She sat on the frozen lake. A painful cold sensation creeped through her robes causing her thighs to sting with discomfort. She twitched her brows in pain as she began to cultivate.


The snow covered her white jade like skin, falling lightly on her long trembling eye lashes. The wind whipped her hair fiercely as it entangled in the air. Her body trembled violently as she concentrated until she succumbed into a peaceful state of stability.


Her eyes slowly creeped open. Her frozen white eyelashes flickered brushing away the little pieces of snow returning to their long black color. She slowly stood up. The heavy white snow fell from her luxurious red robes. 


She sighed as she raised her hand towards her chest gently and slowly pressing her Qi points releasing a small steady flow of energy careful not to overload her system in risk of an explosion.


Breakthrough after breakthrough overtook her body. A cold sweat broke out across her body as she released her final Qi point.


The cave shook heavily causing large icicles from the ceiling to crash and fall near her feet.


Shi Rong raised her eyebrows in surprise. "A Mid-Level Martial Ruler?" She snickered lightly at her achievements.
