Settlement and Forsaken land

Within the cave Chaos directly dropped several gems onto Pans body to speed up her recovery while he ate an entire bag of the gems recovering about half of his total strength.

Walking up to the Wyrm Chaos ripped open its skull grabbing the crystal from within and directly swallowing it, causing his body to strengthen once again, but this time while strengthening not only did his energy reserves completely recover and expand, small little stubble like horns grew out of the sides of his head, that if one doesn't look carefully you wouldn't notice, with these horns also came a sort of symbol appearing inside of Chaos' mind, the symbol completely on fire, the symbol itself looking red hot and molten.

He could feel that this symbol was his flame energy, with the crystal of the Wyrm it had finally achieved enough energy to form, explaining why the energy from the crystal didn't fight Chaos' energy, it was being directly suppressed and absorbed creating the mark leaving no chance to fight back. With this symbol formed his firepower had increased several times to the point that he could easily have taken on the Wyrm and killed it during the first breath attack.

His entire body became much lighter and his physical prowess alone could now rip open a bank vault door with ease, waves of flame energy coming off him unconsciously caused the area to heat up a few degree's for a moment before getting it under control.

The connection between him and Pan had also become much stronger, it's also through this connection that almost thirty percent of the power from the Wyrms crystal was sent to Pan, recovering all of her energy instantly and expanding it by leaps and bounds, inside her mind the faint symbol of the wind fruit was fuzzily coming into being, needing more power to form completely, but even with just this fuzzily formed symbol her power had tremendously increased, her wind strike becoming sharper and going from one to three in the number she could fire at one time.

It was also then that she woke up.

"I can feel the wind energy in the air!" She said playing with the wind, to those who couldn't feel or see the energy however it would look like her being completely insane flailing her arms about wildly.

'Can you only feel the wind energy?' Chaos asked since for him he could feel all sorts of beast and human aura's in the air, but aura was just the residual energy from the being it's self that leaks out deliberately or not, so he was curious if she could directly feel the different energies.

"I can kind of feel other energies in the air but it's not clear, maybe in the future I'll be able to feel them as well." She said disappointed yet hopeful, at her own inability to feel other sources, but unbeknownst to her just the ability to feel a single kind of energy was already extraordinary in and of itself.

'That's fine, but for now we should grab the baby Wyrms crystal and leave to a different area before anything else happens, this Wyrm was female and if they had a kid that means there must be a male around and he will certainly be much more powerful.' Chaos said moving to the cave entrance, while he was talking she had already went and dug out the baby's crystal and jumped onto his back by the time he finished speaking.

With a single leap Chaos moved over a hundred meters forward and out of the cave surprising himself and scaring pan half to death.

"What the hell CHAOS WE TALKED ABOUT THIS!" And so Chaos got another earful feeling aggrieved as even he didn't know he'd go so far forward so fast.

Leaving the area completely with Pan nagging into his ear constantly

About an hour later the faint sounds of roaring came from behind them prompting Chaos to speed up.

Almost three hours later Chaos finally came up to the trail of a fresh human scent, following it for a few miles the forest suddenly changed to flat land like something was forbidding the forest from moving any farther forward.

Farther into the plains as the scent became stronger and stronger the faint outline of a castle wall came into view in the distance.

Speeding up Chaos arrived in front of the castle within a few minutes.

The walls were over twelve meters tall, made of stone, old fashion armored men and women patrolling along the top of the wall, guards at the gates with spears looking towards them cautiously.

"We are friendly, just have a few questions!" Pan yelled from a distance, it was also now that a man walked out of the wall giving off an incredibly powerful feeling, incomparable to the Wyrm from before.

"Who are you and what are you doing here." The man said calmly at the gate at the start and by the end of his sentence standing right in front of them with two meters apart, from this distance neither Pan nor Chaos could feel the depth of this mans power.

"We are from far away and we've come here for information." Pan said nervously, the pressure from the man weighing down on her.

'Should I attack? He's strong but if he's hostile we'll have no choice.' Chaos said to Pan, but in the moment he did a hint of killing intent also leaked out of him, causing the man to retract his pressure.

"So you are forsaken, huh. Come inside we'll give you some basic information on account that you are the first ones here." The man said completely retracting his entire aura now looking like nothing but a normal old man albeit buff.

This alone caused both of them to feel a shiver run up their spines, this man can completely retract all traces of his aura and could also face the both of them without even batting an eye.

Walking into the city everything suddenly felt surreal and strange, but this only lasted for a moment as once they entered all of the people on the street looked towards them with dirty looks and hostile gazes.

Inside the walls which are three meters thick the man sat and closed the door with a flick of his finger, then motioning for Pan to sit down as well.

"You are probably wondering what is going on with your world right?" The man said lazily.

"Yes, I want to understand what's going on, as you are clearly not original inhabitants of our world." Pan responded, and its true, after God abandoned this planet and everything changed their would be no way to gather this many people, let alone build a city and such thick walls over the course of less than a month.

"You're smart, that's good, please be prepared and do not interrupt as I will not be repeating myself.

"This world is now a forsaken land, the god of this place has retracted his blessing and protection over this world, this had caused the optimal circumstances he had set for the worlds inhabitants to flourish to suddenly spin out of control as the worlds blessings stopped restraining the world, this caused the planet to expand many times over, and everything to evolve, this also opened the rifts from which we came through, before this would have been impossible but when a planet losing their gods blessing rifts open and the world is invaded by several species, many of which are refugee's from their own forsaken planets that had been ravaged by war and were no longer inhabitable, while some, like us, forced to teleport to a different world." The man said all of this slowly letting both of them understand and organize everything neatly, though it felt like he had left some things out.

"Any more information is not free, and if you wish to know then you must work for it, you can either join our army and receive information through their or you can join some other establishments, though I'll say now, the towns people do not take kindly to foreigners as we here have bad history with them." Finished speaking the man got up and moved to leave.

'We should join the army for now.' Chaos said, this was the most viable option as the town held hatred towards foreigners they most likely wouldn't find work anywhere else and especially not work towards their specialties, and working for the army would provide a safe place to stay.
