Once upon a time, this world was only ruled by humans, but then a crack appeared on the void near this world, and many different kinds of beings emerged from it. Invading this human-ruled world. 

The emergence of these beings caused great confusion, destruction, and death. The gods and goddesses that are guiding this world can no longer stay still. There is a need for them to interfere, as this events may just lead this world to complete destruction. But they can't directly kill all those invaders due to some restrictions. Due to this, they created a new law that caused all things to be numbered. They also added into this law their way of helping humans to grow stronger. And this created the start of a new era, where the humans gained amazing strength and abilities and have the power to fight the invaders.
