First Time Logging In

The opening cinematic began playing. The images shown were accompanied by a demonic narrator's voice.

"You are A Cambion. An offspring of a human and a succubus. When you were born you were discarded by your human father as he thought that you were dead as you had no pulse. After you were discarded, your demon mother a succubus had taken you and brought you into the demon world. Here in the demon world, you have spent sixteen years and now the time has finally come for you to become your own woman. Your journey begins here in the demon world!"

The cinematic concluded and user interface appeared before Xiao Wei. On the top left side, she saw her character portrait, level, health and mana. At level one, Xiao Wei or Wei Xiao had <130 Health> and <166 Mana>.

To the top right at the end of the screen was a minimap and below the minimap, a name of the zone was displayed.

To the bottom right at the edge of the screen latency (ping) and frames per second (FPS) were shown. Left to that the inventory button was shown. Even more to the left. Between the screen middle and the right edge of the screen, there were buttons for character window, abilities window, talents window, achievements window, Player-versus-Environment (PvE) window and Player-versus-Player (PVP) window.

On the bottom middle of the screen was the experience bar and slightly above that was the abilities bar. There were five ability bars and they were all stacked one atop of each other. At level one Wei Xiao had only two abilities available to her. The racial ability of the race which when used would teleport the user to the selected location. The selected location could only be a location in the range of ten yards.

Her second ability was available to all mages that were . The first mage ability . This ability did damage according to the formula <10+(Intellect*0.6)> The 10 was a base value which would get bigger as the skill would get higher ranks.

After the cinematic had concluded a window appeared in the middle of the screen. The title of this window was . Xiao Wei clicked on the and the first message flashed. Xiao Wei clicked on the button without glancing at the message. She did it for all the messages that appeared in the window. Xiao Wei didn't even read them as she already had the extensive knowledge about the game. After all, Xiao Wei had played WoAL for ten years.

When Xiao Wei clicked through the tutorial she immediately pressed escape which summoned the main menu. She selected the option then navigated to interface and disabled the help window. After that Xiao Wei opened the character window. She opened it not by clicking on the button on the screen but rather by clicking a shortcut on the keyboard and a window opened.

When she opened the character window. She saw all the information about her characters. From stat points up to the equipment.

Out of her 10 attribute points Xiao Wei put 5 into intellect, 3 Vitality and 2 into spirit. After she put in her points the character window changed. Xiao Wei once more looked at her stat portion of the window and saw the changes.

Xiao Wei smiled and she mumbled, "Alright time to begin." But before Xiao Wei could even close the window she heard a knocking on her door. Xiao Wei put down her head headphones and turned around. Xiao Wei with a smile said, "Good morning, mom."

The woman sighed and asked, "What are you doing?"

Xiao Wei replied with a smile, "I am playing."

The woman shook her head and said, "Before playing first make your bed, change your clothes, eat your breakfast and only when you did all these you can go and play."

Xiao Wei nodded her head seriously and she thought, "My mother is right. I have to not let myself go. I can't be a slob and I can't die of a heart attack like last time."

"I understand, mom. I will come in a few moments."

Xiao Wei's mother nodded her head, "Alright. I will wait for you."

Xiao Wei looked at her mother as she left the room. Xiao Wei looked at the screen and turned off the game. She made her bed. Took a shower changed her clothes and walked to the kitchen. She sat down at the table and ate as she chatted with her mother. After the breakfast was done Xiao Wei's mother left for work.

Xiao Wei washed the dishes. Then she changed into her sportswear and walked around the neighbourhood. She walked around the neighbourhood one lap more than usual. After she returned Xiao Wei took another shower and walked back to her room. She sat down and once again booted up the game.
