The Rotten Girl

Excusing himself for a moment, Wu Shang Tang picked up his phone to place a call.

He seemed to have called the person quite often, as he didn't take long to find the name on his phone.

Before it even rang twice, the call was picked up and a faint female voice can be heard from the other end.

"It's me. Chu Nan received a call from that woman," there was a hint of unfamiliar seriousness in his tone.

Chu Nan was the full name of Nan Nan, something he did not like to be called as it sounded almost like 'virgin boy'.

Wu Shang Tang pulled his phone away from his ear the moment he finished, just as unclear shouts of anger came out of the receiver piece.

With Jia Bi Yu's sensitive hearing, he heard the unknown girl say, "That b*tch! She better be ready for my iron fist! How dare she try to contaminate my little shou!"

The call got hung up right after and Jia Bi Yu could only stare at Wu Shang Tang with raised eyebrows.

Wu Shang Tang gave him a bitter smile as he put his phone away and Jia Bi Yu did not bother to ask who it was.

As though wanting to change to topic, Wu Shang Tang wrapped one hand around the other that was in a fist and rested his chin on top.

"Hero, I have a proposition for you," he said as he looked at Jia Bi Yu expectantly.

Jia Bi Yu lifted his line of sight from the dishes to him and just stared at Wu Shang Tang in silence.

Not minding the lack of a reaction, Wu Shang Tang just smiled.

"Become my teacher."

The silence continued.

Wu Shang Tang lightly coughed before saying, "Teach me how to fight. I'll pay you this much per lesson."

He took out a pen from his chest pocket and quickly jotted something down on a napkin before bringing it across the table and placing it in front of Jia Bi Yu.

Jia Bi Yu looked down.

His expression still had no change upon seeing the line of zeroes on the napkin.

Looking at Wu Shang Tang's smug look, Jia Bi Yu picked up the napkin and lightly wiped his lips with it before crunching it into a ball and dropping it back down on the table.

Wu Shang Tang's face froze and before he can reply, Jia Bi Yu said a single word, "Sure."

Wu Shang Tang blinked his eyes a few times and started laughing out loud.

Despite the laughter, his smile did not reach his eyes.

"As expected, hero is an interesting person. Ahh no. I should be calling you master from now on."

***

After hanging up on Wu Shang Tang, Lan Qing quickly switched to a tracking app.

A map popped up zooming onto a blinking red dot that was moving towards the direction of the city center.

She did not even bother changing and just threw on a hooded jacket.

Grabbing the large set of keys on top of her shoe case, she ran out of her dorm room in flipflops.

Right downstairs was a parked motorbike with a pink helmet hanging on one of its handles.

She fumblingly unlocked the antitheft lock and climbed onto the bike.

She started its engine with one hand as she tried to secure her helmet on with the other.

Kicking the kickstand, she pushed off on the concrete ground, rushing haphazardly through the traffic.

Lan Qing, along with Wu Shang Tang and Chu Nan were students of B University.

She was what one would call a rotten girl, otherwise known as a fujoshi, rotten to the core.

Her perverted eyes are always sweeping around her surroundings, looking for potential guys to pair together, and her current OTP (one true pairing) was Wu Shang Tang and Chu Nan.

The tall and handsome gong (the top in a BL "boy's love" pair) and his childhood friend, the naive little shou (the bottom in a BL pair).

If it weren't for her skills, Wu Shang Tang really wouldn't have wanted to have anything to do with this pervert.

Those who know this side of her often mispronounce her name Lan Qing, making it sound like rotten love.

Just thinking about her gave Wu Shang Tang the creeps, as every time she looked at him, it felt like she was stripping him naked with just her eyes and putting that naked him into one of those weird fantasies of hers.

Those stares are especially deadly when she sees Wu Shang Tang and Chu Nan together.

However, if one did not know of this rotten side of hers, they would never associate it with her.

Her grades were always on top of the class, and she was highly skilled in computers, a true geek.

Her other alias was the hacker DM, which stood for danmei (Chinese term for BL genre).

DM was pretty famous amongst the hacker community, having infiltrated into many top secret government systems, and left without a single trace or alert.

Many top hackers have challenged her before and were left in the dust.

For those who did it for fun and meant no harm, she only sent a private popup of their information, but for a hacker, their identity was their biggest weakness.

Having their identity known meant they were totally within the palms of her hands, a single poke and they would end up behind bars for years.

For those who were malicious, she unhesitantly posted their information, full name, age, address, school/work, bank information, etc. all over the internet.

She was usually harmless and only used her skills to learn more about her potential pairings and tracking their phones at times to stage 'events'.

Nobody knew Lan Qing was DM, nor would she go bragging about it to those she knew in real life, but somehow Wu Shang Tang had found out.

The first time he sought her as DM out, she couldn't believe her ears.

She had thought she left no links between Lan Qing and DM, and 'till this day she still hasn't found out how Wu Shang Tang knew.

Somehow, despite her fears, Wu Shang Tang being the gong of her OTP put her mind at ease.

Well, she was rotten to the core after all.
