Betrayal

"I was so stupid back then...that whore played with me and when I realized what was going on it was too late... "Jehako sighed bitterly at the thought that everything was happening again.

"If no one stops their plans, Rainer and his companions will end up like me."

"If I remember correctly, I was in the same situation as I am now... "Jehako muttered before concentrating his efforts on trying to regain his soul power.

...

"We will get you out of that cell once you calm down and stop talking nonsense!" Said Rufus, the bearded dwarf, before he kept the door key and left with the others.

As the dungeon gate closed, Jehako could see how Razer was surrounded by numerous people he considered his best friends and smiled at him as they seemed to praise him for forgiving him.

He clenched his teeth at the scene but the gate closed and the smile of that smug bastard was the last thing he saw.

"Why doesn't anyone believe in what I say? Do they even think of me as their companion at this point?"Despair and rage plunged Jehako into deep misery as he struck the jail wall.

The jail walls was specially made for criminal cultivators or prisoners, the walls were covered with formations that prevented the use or recovery of spiritual energy.

In this jail one was equal to a mortal except for his great strength but without an appropriate weapon or sufficient power, how could he break through those intricate sealing formations? The moment he tried to destroy the walls he would be attacked.

Jehako decided to rest and stop thinking about Razer.

...

The noise of the dungeon door opening alerted Jehako who soon opened his eyes when he noticed a familiar presence.

"Did you also come to mock me, Kha?" Jehako spat after noticing that a redheaded woman whose hair crackled and flowed like lava approached his jail.

Kha's gaze was cold but serious, she seemed to be here for something important.

Her red dress as well as her hair and eyes left a lot of skin for seeing, if they were in another situation, Jehako would eat Kha with his glance.

"I also don't believe all that bullshit about helping us, if he' s so good as he claims to be, how come we always lose so many soldiers in every battle?" Kha walked from one side of the dungeon to the other, her frown showed that she had been thinking for a long time an answer to her question.

"Maybe he wants to slowly decrease our strength..."

"Do you believe me?" Jehako asked hesitantly.

"For the moment let's say that I don't trust Razer either... "She replied.

"That's good enough for me now, you have to get me out of here as soon as possible, the others are dumbfounded with him!"

"I'm sure if Razer asked them to kill me they would be willing to do it, I don't recognize them anymore." He said with a gloomy look.

She looked at Jehako for a while in silence before nodding.

"Wait for me here, I'll get the key." She said before leaving.

"You are so funny..."

...

"How long can someone take to get a key?" Jehako muttered frustrated after waiting for so long.

Kha had left for a couple of hours to open his jail but time was running out and there was no sign of her.

"Could something have happened to her? No, it's impossible..." Jehako's predictions came true when a group of people entered into the dungeon, in the center of the group Kha was tied with shackles made of the same material as the dungeon walls, her exquisite body was covered with wounds indicating that she defended herself from her aggressors, her companions!

"Damn beasts! What are you doing attacking your companion!" Jehako grabbed the bars and tried to break the cell in anger.

The various wall formations were activated, causing a heavy pressure to hit his body and force him to kneel.

The jail cell opened and the group threw Kha into it.

Her thin body was caught by Jehako who was unable to do anything else except look at his former companions.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Have you lost your mind?" He shouted at them.

"The only ones who have lost their heads are you two, you dared to betray the Alliance of Races and you collaborated with the giants!"

"Yes, that's why they always attacked our hidden bases, you're spies!"

"Because of you, my younger brother...!"

One by one, the group he once fought shoulder to shoulder, the people he bled with, the people he shared both good and bad moments with shouted at him in anger.

Their eyes only saw one thing.

"Two traitors..."

Razer's quiet voice reached his ears and was like a spark triggering a fire inside him.

Jehako tried to get up as the pressure crushed his veins and organs, blood began to flow from his orifices as he screamed.

"Razer!!!"
