There were too many pressure points when it came to fighting Golden Eye, when very little room for error. The slightest misstep would lead to the entire party wiping out.

The second time Li Yi and company tried it, they had the right ideas, but there were still too many gaps in their coordination. When the darkness descended upon them, several members stumbled again, colliding into each other and getting petrified. This led directly to the failure of the second attempt.

It was much easier said than done, that was for sure.

Brother Windcloud Nine resurrected the party again, but even after the third attempt, they had yet to make it past the first segment.
