Improvement of Planet Carefree

After spending some time to catch up with his family, Kalan went to find Orion.

"Orion didn't you say over 800 Saiyans were transported? Why is there only over 400 Saiyans left?" Kalan asked as he heard other Saiyans say only 400 Saiyans were left.

"Sigh, most Saiyans wanted to fight back against Frieza after what he had done... Although I had my men beat them up and watched over... We still couldn't completely hold them back over the 6 years. They knew they weren't Frieza's match so they decided on raiding his planets. My men were too few... So we could not watch over every Saiyan. Luckily Igara had told them that only if they pulled off their tails were they allowed to attack Frieza Force. He said if Frieza were to discover so many Saiyans attacking, it would likely rise suspicion of the Saiyans survival. And might lead Frieza to our planet." Orion explained worriedly.

"Ugh... I know we Saiyans are very hotblooded and impulsive... Orion it's not your fault. I did not expect me to have an accident and travel to a very distant place..." Kalan did not explain too much as he did not deem it necessary.

"Orion thank you for keeping the fort while I was gone." Kalan thanked Orion's efforts in keeping his base safe.

"I did not do much, it was mainly thanks to the Ingeniumians. They really are smart and kind. Many intelligent races would rather exploit others with their intelligence." Orion guided Kalan around the planet, there had been many changes from the originally bare and scarcely built houses where most were even cave houses. Now many fine and sturdy buildings were erect. There was a small city on the surface with planetary defenses protecting their planet from invaders.

The Ingeniumians liked the underground better as it was warmer compared to the ice filled surface. They build a small underground town. There were fewer living underground. The Saiyans liked their old planet where the gravity was 10x as compared to here with 3x gravity. So the Ingeniumians built a city just for the Saiyans with higher gravity. The city was equipped with a gravity field generator, it is adjustable and they divided the city into 3 parts, the outer city, inner city and core city. The outer city has a gravity of 10x, the inner city 20x and the core city 40x. Their revenge for Frieza was their driving force to get stronger.

The Ingeniumians had also built training rooms with adjustable gravity. They Saiyans were especially addicted to gravity training as they noticed an apparent increase in their battle power after training in higher gravity. Of course the increase was negligible in Kalans eyes as the most they gained was 5-10,000 in battle power. But to the Saiyans where the peak battle power used to be 10,000 it was a remarkable increase in battle power.

What surprised Kalan was that the Saiyans that went to raid Frieza Force camps even brought back some enslaved races. Like the Orxians, they had wild boar faces with 2 tusks sticking out their mouths. They had decent strength and were enslaved by Frieza Force as miners and were forced to mine many kinds of minerals and metals. After learning of Planet Carefree, instead of simply hiding from Frieza Force, they decided to follow the Saiyans back to live here.

Planet Carefree now had a population over 2,000, mostly of some enslaved aliens or enslaved races. The Saiyans numbered over 400, the Pal'Adians over 100, the Ingeniumians a few dozens. Over half were from the new inhabitants.

Having a better understanding of the changes, Kalan quickly sent orders for all Saiyans to return to the planet. He did not want them to needlessly throw away their lives. He also made Bardock the 2nd in command. He was after all the 2nd strongest on Planet Carefree, Kalan trusted Bardock as they had both traveled in time and spent a long time together. Bardock and Kalan taught the Saiyans martial arts. Kalan also decided to teach the other inhabitants martial arts. There was also a cute little young Ingeniumian that wanted to learn martial arts and become strong. Kalan thought it would be interesting for a genius like race to also become strong.

Kalan also had a friendship with Igara and made him the representative of the Ingeniumians. While he was talking to Igara, a group of crazed Ingeniumians chased after Kalan, asking question after question about his time traveling. It seemed that Bardock had mentioned about their journey.

"Shit how did they find out? Oh my god! Bardock!!" Kalan ran while cursing Bardock in his mind. He quickly found Bardock's Ki and teleported him to the Ingeniumians and ran away. Once the Ingeniumians had a target, they stopped chasing Kalan.

Kalan's mind was still echoing about the space-time theories put out by the Ingeniumians. He lightly rubbed his temples and blamed Bardock.

During this time, Kalan paid much attention to the military force of Planet Carefree. He opened up a training camp and made sure everyone who was willing could learn and improve their strength. Kalan did not hold back on his knowledge of martial arts. Many of the races originally enslaved by Frieza Force wanted to get back at the Frieza Force and trained hard. Even the Pal'Adians were encouraged and joined in the training.

The average battle power on Planet Carefree was 10,000. But most aliens' battle power was around 100-1,000. The reason for the higher average was because many Pal'Adians and Saiyans raised their battle power beyond 10,000. Kalan noticed that even though he had put much attention on the aliens, their talent were lacking and it would require many many years for them to improve their battle power.

Kalan had taught the basics to the aliens already so he left them to their own devices. I put more emphasis on the Saiyans and the Pal'Adians. Many of the Saiyans battle power rose to 50,000 while the majority was around 30,000. The reason was the difficulty for them to learn martial arts or to learn meditation and tempering their spirits. While there were a few geniuses raising their battle power to over 80,000. Still they were a far cry from Bardock.

"And I even complained that Bardock had short temper and being very impatient..." Kalan shook his head as he thought how 2 year of training had raised Bardock's battle power of over 10,000 to 300,000. While it's been a year and most Saiyans' battle power was still around 30,000.

It was unknown if the Pal'Adians were very talented in martial arts or that it simply was that their custom fit martial arts was just too good. The average battle power of the Pal'Adians that joined in the training camp was 100,000. But it became must more difficult for them to raise their battle power after reaching that much.

Kalan had Bardock take over their training regime, he trusted Bardock and he did not need to be the one to personally train everyone all the time. Bardock also took the time to teach the Saiyans his Super Saiyan transformation. All the Saiyans were in awe when Kalan and Bardock showed their Super Saiyan transformation. It was after all the Super Saiyan of the legends. Many Saiyans had been to zealous in their training in hope for Super Saiyan, that they coughed blood from their training.

Luckily there were many Healing Machines because Kalan had shared the healing liquid recipe he got from the Plants to the Ingeniumians so there were no worries about the injured.

Kalan had also managed to heal Cabbage of his sequela, after fusing with the Super Namekian Bloodline, Kalan's healing had improved.

Anya, Broly, Cabbage and Rako were also very enthusiastic in their training, all of them were very talented Saiyans. Due to their relations Kalan had spent more time to train them. It seemed that Anya was the most talented of the three as she was much more patient and had the most success in meditation. It seemed the many years she spent with Kalan had made her more caring. And the 6 years she spent in worrying about Kalan's safety had tempered her patience.

Broly had the most potential, he was now 7 and his battle power had reached an incredibly 300,000.

The Ingeniumian kid had caught Kalan's attention, he was called Ujin. He was very smart, anything Kalan taught him was remembered by the letter. Kalan even suspected he had photographic memory. Ujin mastered the martial arts very quickly, but due to his race not specializing in combat. His battle power was just over 1,000 and he was just a little kid!

"This will not do. My battle power will only be around tens of thousands after training for a dozen years. I should try modifying my body..." Ujin mumbled.

Hearing Ujin's mumbling, Kalan did not know whether to laugh or cry. But he decided to let Ujin do whatever he wanted. After all Ujin was probably smarter than him.

Kalan made sure the everyone would not recklessly look for revenge and get themselves killed. He set down rules that the Saiyans should at least have a battle power of 100,000 before they were allowed to fight Frieza Force. For the aliens, 10,000. The Pal'Adians were not as reckless, so Kalan did not set any rules for them regarding this.
