The royal guards outside the gate saluted the royal princess. All thoughts of rebellion were instantly quenched, by the respect that the royal guards have given to Allysium. No one had anticipated that the royal knights would be under the control of the princess, it was indeed a pleasant surprise.
While it was unexpected that Allysium had the symbol that controls the royal guard. She was too careless. It is indeed a good move to show off your superiority of being able to control the royal guards, however, is it a really a good idea to do it so soon? Looking at this scene, the Angel of Observation that Dan had loaned out shakes its head.
The is a serious mistake, the royal guards were groomed by the King of Dusk. They are loyal to the symbol and not Allysium. She trusts others too much. I wonder why did master make me serve her.
Suddenly, a mass of information rushed into its head. Ah I see, this was a precautionary measure after all... Very well, I will serve to the best of my abilities.

The royal knights were welcomed into the castle, they set up their camp as there wasn't enough space. The current royal knights' captain is Marcus. A man with stern facial features. He almost never smiles and treats everything seriously.
The knights in the castle salute him as he strides proudly to the meeting room. His heavy armour makes a clingy metallic sound with every step he takes. He knocks on the door and opened it, seeing that Allysium was indeed inside, he slightly bowed and sat down right across Allysium.
"Your Highness, I'm sure you've heard about the situation in the capital." He spoke sternly and directly.
"I have," Allysium replied gracefully.
"So what do you intend to do?" He asked again.
"I will take back what is rightfully mine," Allysium spoke with resolve.
"I see." He got up and prepared to leave.
"Wait you are... leaving already?"
"There is nothing to talk about, please call me if you need anything."
Just like that Marcus left the room, in his head he thought, he will not fight until the last moment. He wants to see which of the royal faction would emerge victoriously. As the royal knights, they need not participate in the throne war. He was even willing to join the noble faction. But it is a different story with the Symbol of Dusk.
He will need to serve the princess unless there is a true ruler. In his room, he pounded the wall, "Damn it, me a proud royal knight serving this delusional princess." He gritted his teeth and endured his anger. Fine, let's see your capabilities.
This dark night, the air was stagnant, it seems that something was going on... it was quieter than usual.
*Sounds of bell ringing* "Damn it what's going on?" He stepped out of his room and looked around. A messenger hurridly ran towards the princess room. Marcus grabbed the messenger's collar and stopped him.
"You! What's going on?"
"Who are you? I report only to the princess! Leave now, this is an emergency."
"I AM THE ROYAL KNIGHTS' CAPTAIN!!!'
"Apologies sir... sire. A rebellio..."
"A WHAT!?"
"Rebellion sir... The people living in the slums have revoted. Hurry tell the princess."
"No need. You leave at once."
"But..."
"LEAVE!!"
The messenger hurridly left the corridor. And Marcus smirks, let us see how the delusional princess saves this city. He went back to the room thinking that the princess has no idea what's going on. He had once seen the princess before and his impression of Allysium wasn't good. At that time Allysium was sprouting her ideals meaninglessly... to Marcus all these was just a delusional thought and can never actually happen in reality.
In reality, right now, the princess was currently in her room watching from the Angel of Observation. She saw the commoners from the slums rebelling, except that their eyes were bright red... Drugs? Who introduce drugs into the slum? There's only one way to deal with this... A purge... It seems that the nobles were not fully innocent either.
"Britinia." Allysium spoke into a magical device.
"By your side." Britinia voice came out of the black box-like device.
"Eliminate... them..."
"As you wish."
"Knights!" Britinia commanded.
"HA"
"KNIGHTS!"
"FOR THE QUEEN!"
"CHARGE, FORWARD GLORY FOR THE QUEEN!!"
Blood splatters as the well-equipped knights mowed down the mobs of commoners. They were under influence of the drugs... By the time some of them awake to the madness it was already too late. The Knights had to make sure that they do not relapse and rebel due to the influence of drugs.
Indeed, it was a dark night. The kind princess stares the screen as the mowing down continues. Her eyes were glued to the screen, though it was difficult for her to watch her countrymen die to her knights, she kept telling herself that she had no choice. Slowly convincing herself that what she did was right.
In just a single night, the entire slum was purged, no one from the slum was spared from this madness. She watched as the children cried for their parents, none of them survived this night. But it was not over... she knew that she has to purge the nobles in the city too... but she started crying. Tears fell from her eyes, dripping onto her mattress. Is the world really this cruel? Why am I crying?
By the time she had gotten up after falling asleep, it was already noon. The sun was high up. It was too late to cleanse the nobles. Britinia and the other knights waited till noon and they had already returned. Their plan had only succeeded halfway, no... it had failed.
The plan was to use this opportunity to purge the nobles in Entropy. Now, all the nobles must be on guard. They now know that even the kind princess was willing to kill to establish her authority.
Something was amiss. Somebody was pulling the strings behind this sudden rebellion. Since no actions were taken after the rebellion had failed, it means that the 'unknown''s party plan had failed. When Allysium thought of the drugs, she already thought of a person.
The third prince? Slaine? His hands had actually sunk so deep? The princess of Dusk frowned again. This is unfortunate...
*Knock* *knock* "Princess are you awake?"
"Come in"
Britinia walked into the room. "Are you alright?"
"I'm... fine... But we have failed..." Allysium looked down disappointedly, obviously disheartened by her failure.
"Allysium... no, I mean princess Allysium, it wasn't a complete failure."
"No, it's alright, please don't act distant from me anymore... I'm afraid." There were slight eye bags under her eyes, showing that she had cried herself to sleep.
Recently Britinia had avoided close contact with the princess to prevent anyone from taking advantage of their relationship.
"But..."
"It's alright, I won't let anything happen to you" Allysium tiredly smiles.
"Alright..."
"We have captured a traitor. That mere rat tried to escape during the rebellion. It seems that the royal advisor has been brought over."
*Read this in a very narrator voice*
Yes, while the Princess of Dusk may be naive, she isn't stupid. Her subordinate Britinia had already made preparations to smoke out the rats in the princess castle. The castle was already under watch 24 hours per day.
Britinia had already predicted that there are those that would underestimate the princess's resolve. So it would be easy to weed out any traitors. Though they had failed in the plan to purge the nobles in Entropy, they had success over other areas.
Now, you must be asking why Britinia didn't just attack the nobles without the princess command. The reason for this is actually very simple. The princess was already at her limit when she watched the purge of the civilian lives in the slum of Entropy. Britinia found it necessary to balance the amount of stress that the princess is currently under.
If she had not waited for orders and continued the assaulted, the princess may not be able to think well in the future and may abandon her in the future. Or she may not trust her as much as she does now. Britinia decides not to take a risk and strictly followed her order.
She believes that her decision today would not be wrong...
Also, why did the princess watch the purge if it affects her this much? Allysium believes that she must watch the result of her actions or she may end up mad and not understand the implications of her actions in the future. While this method allows her to keep a certain part of her original mindset, it may push her to the brink of insanity if the stress is large enough.

Britinia helps Allysium dressed up her clothes were slightly dirty from the tear stains from last night. While Allysium was still disappointed with herself, she had to get dress and commence the execution.
This is needed to display that traitors will not be tolerated in her faction. And could reduce the chance of traitor appearing in her faction, appropriate punishments must be given out as well as appropriate rewards. With a balance of both, it is possible to be a good leader.
Allysium really needs to ride on the tempo of this victory to achieve greater heights. While she still has her shortcomings, she is working very hard to achieve her goal right now...
