Mushroom clouds are nice

"That's some nice scenery here," Dan commented. Of course, by 'nice' he didn't mean it at all. The land here is wholly barren and flat. And the sun was shining brightly in the blue sky, it was like a desert, but instead of sand, it was all brown dirt.

The heat radiated from the ground makes it unbearable for a normal human being to stay here comfortably.

"HAHA very funny, go f*ck yourself." Leora pointed her middle finger. She had enough of Dan antics. Making such lame jokes all the time...

"Now that I think about it... Can't we just teleport? Don't you have a waypoint in the Holy Kingdom? What was it called again? The city closest to the centre of the human continent." Dan pointed out.

"It is called Zlupolis." Now I feel stupid... Why am I the one suffering from memory overload while Dan is still fine?

Ah I see, he used a different approach. He locked up my portion of my memory in his mind. Using it as an information warehouse instead of forcefully integrating it.

"We can meet up with our servants there. I wonder how my apostles are doing.

We've been working hard recently, I want a short vacation."

"Whatever. Grab on to my hand. I am using a loophole through the Omnigod's barrier. This would be a bumpy ride." Leora extended her arm towards Dan. To which Dan casually grabbed without hesitation. Illegible formation circles start forming around the both of them.

In the midst of waiting for the teleportation spell to activate, Leora narrowed her eye. "So you knew that a piece of Z'rax is in Carol. And you let that boy escape. I'm starting to wonder if you are intentionally letting your enemies live." Her aura began to increase in both intensity and ferociousness.

"Who knows? I tried my best all the time." Dan turned away, avoiding Leora's stern look.

"Lies. At the very least, you could have killed Carol during the fight between us and Z'rax."

"They have their uses. Be patient. Do I look like someone who will betray you? Ask yourself in your heart, you know that I wouldn't even if I wanted to I can't." Dan smiled.

"That better be true. [Massive Teleportation]." Instantly they vanished from the land.

Just as they left, a limping figure appeared, it was Carol. That was strange I swear I saw 2 figure here. Am I hallucinating? I do not know, but it was dark and suddenly sunny again. Who was fighting that old god? Whatever the case, I must get out of here immediately. I think that 3 days has passed from the amount of sunlight I'm getting.

For some reason, on the third day, the ground suddenly disappeared, and I fell all the way down. Though I'm thirsty and hungry, my body is somehow sustaining itself. It would be a long journey... I still have no idea which direction I'm heading in. Unbeknown to Carol, the thing maintaining his body now is the evil gods in his body. Additionally, there was a recent addition to the gods sealed in him. A lurking Z'rax was observing...

"Ha... ha... You are really something... Using me as a human shield? Aren't you afraid that I might die?" Dan was grasping for air in the middle of the busy Zlupolis.

"As if you would die from something like this. You know there's a saying in your dictionary, 'the best shields are those that are capable of thought.' I have to say that I agree entirely with this statement." She replied nonchalantly. "So where are these servants you mentioned?"

"Hold on, I told them to wait in the mansion. They had set-up their temporary base here according to my instructions."

"Oh so, you've planned this far ahead?"

"No no, I just placed them in a place in which I deemed most suitable and the safest." Dan quickly waved off the idea. "I just gave another order. All my servants should now be entering the elemental portal. They did pretty well while I was asleep.

Elise kept messing around she pissed off quite many noblemen. Emma was struggling to keep up with Elise, the orphanage kids are having the best time of their lives. All they're doing now is eat and play, no worries for the future. They will have their uses soon.

As for Emma, Elise and Ellie the triple Es, they got along quite well. Usually, Emma and Ellie try to hold down Elise, but Elise just keeps running all over the place and causing lots of trouble. The last time Elise got trap under a rock, both Emma and Ellie ignored her screams.

(Elise-Apostle of Chaos. Emma- Sister of the Orphanage. Ellie- Former Toy)

By the way...

Did you notice it already? Some idiot is watching us." Dan sounded depressed.

"Yeah yeah, I noticed them the moment we teleported here. So what do you intend to do?" Leora swung her arms carefreely uncaring about the prying eye.

"You're an old god, don't you have a better idea of what to do next?"

"Welp, we don't deal with stuff like this. I will leave it to you." Leora patted Dan on the back.

"You sure?" His eyebrows raised in slight surprise.

"Yep. I will go get some food, I have not tried eating in this human body yet. Bye Bye." Before Dan could react, Leora was already gone.

She left me here to take on the problem alone... while she's out there having fun. Ah, whatever, I just need to endure a little longer, and I will be playing the world like a chessboard. So how are you going to test me, God of Strategy?

Just after this simple thought, there was an outroar in the nearby street. Angry cries resounded through the streets, a few large and simple poster of drawings and picture of Dan stood out.

"The Lord of Order and Chaos is an evil god." "That god is a piece of sh*t." "Death to all his followers." "Evil should be cleansed from this holy land." Raging anger, temples of that from the temple of Justice. Somehow or another, this had happened just as Dan had entered the city. It takes an idiot to guess who was behind this.

Not bad. Predicting where I would appear if I somehow survived. And this is especially so as this prediction was spot on. This god probably placed some other pieces in other cities for precaution sake. Unfortunately, too much precaution by separating your measures also means that each measure you put in each city becomes weaker.

{So this will be the plan, this god of order and chaos wouldn't die so simply. We will place each of our forces in all city of the Holy Kingdom. Once his presence is detected, we will test him. From his reaction, we should be able to see what kind of person he is.

This is a perfect plan, perhaps it is possible to play him. This god is dangerous, he sees something we don't and his extent of knowledge is unknown, but I'm sure that he wouldn't dare to do anything rash here. This is the territory of the Light Alliance.

All other origin gods are present too, they are curious about this god. Any mistakes he makes means offending all of those gods. Let's see how he will react. Reacting meeking means offending the older gods, these elder gods from the Ancient war have tons of pride. They believe that gods are above all, acting weakly to mortals mean disgracing all gods.

On the other hand, act too brutally, and the 'kind' and pro-life gods will retaliate harshly. The only way out is to operate between the two extremes. If he does so, then he will be the most dangerous. Knowing to balance the benefits and consequences. This way, I can tell what kind of person he is. At least he will be predictable this way, there is no way to lose this one.}- And this is what that god of strategy evaluated. Dan easily deduced the God of Strategies thinking process and rationale.

Not bad, I would have done the same to test others. However. You failed to calculate several other factors. My backing is not something you can afford to offend. I'm planning to hug the omnigod's thigh for now. We still had an ongoing deal.

Acting in between? Unfortunately, sometimes the best choice is a seemingly lousy choice. Poor citizens of Zlupolis, all of you are going to die. There will not be any survivor after this one all. I got a plan, wiping this city will be the first step. It's such a shame.

Dan's eyes were still. There was no reflection of any emotion. No joy, no pain and no sadness. At this moment all gods watching felt a bad premonition.

"Look! That man looks like the one the gods have foretold!" "Get him!" Spears and shouts threw toward Dan.

On the other end of the street, some were still happily chatting along. "Papa! Look!" The little girl age of 7 held an ice cream ran towards her father. Sadly for her, she tripped and fell causing the ice cream cone to fall onto the ground.

At the same time, a tiny small little black ball on Dan's hand fell onto the ground. The timing of the two falling objects was synchronised. At the same time that single scope of ice cream and the little black ball touches the ground.

The screen went black, a mushroom cloud appeared in the sky. A single question resounded the minds of the gods present.

They were shocked silly. What the hell just happened?
