CHAPTER 69-HELPLESS

"No, please don't?" Ema screamed and tried to kick, but could not move a limb. She fought with the belt of the hovering stretcher, struggling to wrestle her way into freedom. But all her efforts were proving abortive at the moment. If they had not drugged her, she was sure she could have felt the edge of the stiff belt, burring itself into her skin. Her heart was also pounding faster under her skin with adrenalin streaming into every part of her body, making her boil with anger and fright. She was helpless. God, she hated being in this position.

"Please, I beg you. Don't do this." She cried.
