Both boys were forced to swear never to reveal the location of the Slate of Vale to anyone, but that was before they knew that the slate of vale was the only thing keeping the world from crumbling.
Will they reveal the sacred secret to the world and die? Or will Vortex escape the prison and hunt them?

It was one thing to embrace the extracting power. It was much easier to glow. But the difficult part was letting the power go. That was the hardest part. Pinna gnashed her teeth as she struggled to let the lovely sensation depart from her body. It was just too sweet and letting go…

She heaved and decided to let go. She had held the power too long and was sure that she would have a running stomach afterward. Holding the Extracting power for too long has its own side effects, and the signs vary among different individuals. For Pinna, it was stomach upset, which usually lasts for a day or two. There was even a time when the pains in her stomach had lasted for five days. The longer one holds on the Extracting power, the more the number of days it takes for the body to recover from the side effect.

Reluctantly, Pinna finally pushed the power away, hating herself for not clinging for a few moments. The slow movement around her suddenly returned to normal.
