The darkness was a comfort to her soul. Their arms were alluring, their grace was sweet. She had not been enveloped in so much darkness before. Not in a long while. So much peace. She smiled and relaxed, but the roughness on her skin, for some passing moments, made her frown. This is not right, she thought and opened her eye.

Why am I lying on the floor? Kira asked. She lifted her face from the dried leaves and looked around trying to get a full glimpse of her location.

She had never seen so much green in her life before. Just in the books and the stories. Green was a symbol for earth…No, it can't be, Earth had been destroyed. This must be some kind of joke.

Kira dusted her body as she stood up to her feet. She paused however when she when it dawned on her that the wound on her stomach was gone. There was not a trace of it, not even a scar. Is this paradise?
