Both boys were forced to swear never to reveal the location of the Slate of Vale to anyone, but that was before they knew that the slate of vale was the only thing keeping the world from crumbling.
Will they reveal the sacred secret to the world and die? Or will Vortex escape the prison and hunt them?

<p>Kira hugged herself as she tried to consider what the man in the icy crystal had said. What did he mean when he said her life has been tangled? It actually makes no sense. If the man meant that her life would be difficult, then he was just telling her what she knew already. Her life has been anything but easy. She had grown up among people that rarely wanted her around. Her family had disowned her and her best friend had betrayed her. Even the human friends she was becoming acquitted with had disappeared into a thin air. So yes, her life was really tangled with difficulties and uncertainties. There was nothing else she could do if not to move on with life and leave the past behind. That was the only way for her. She was not going to dwell in some silly prophecy that was but a puff of air.</p>
