"Because not much is known about her besides she's a trickster," replied Veronica. She sat on my bed and crossed her legs then pat the space in front of us ushering us to sit down. We sat in front of her as she looked at us with a weird cheerful grin.
"Her name changes every century but it is said she's the ultimate trickster and plays with the faith of mortals like it's a game to her. Once she has her sight on you, you become engulfed in her twisted story. She calls herself the twister of time and the spinner of tales for she is the result of many dangerous outcomes in history. In fact, Tatianna knew her in life before her little sidekick appeared. Apparently, she was around during the 18th dynasty of the new Egyptian empire and personally knew King Tutankhamun, but she was already dead before then and don't get me wrong she is no succubus, but something darker according to some rumors," explained Veronica.
"Darker than a succubus," I replied.
"Yes," chimed in Naylie, "she's a succubus but of a different caliber I should say, she's more in tune with her hatred therefor her power status and experience far exceeds ours."
"Exactly going against this red-haired mystery is going against death itself," said Veronica.
"So, what's her name," I asked.
"I don't' know her original name nor any previous names she went by, far as I can gather it changes every century, but learning her name means she's becoming bored with her game," Said Veronica.
"What does that mean," I asked.
"Your closer to your death," Veronica replied slowly.
Naylie grabbed me by the arm with pleading eyes, "please tell me she hasn't shown herself to you."
I nodded my head.
Naylies face became pale. I glanced at Veronica as she watched me with a fearful expression.
"Veronica how do you know about her?" I asked. She looked at me and replied, "I know of her due to my past, I remember a young noble man went missing a few months before my death, he was rumored to be found around town with a petite red-haired girl before his sudden disappearance."
She cleared her throat, "shortly after I died I caught a glimpse of her again wandering around with the young man who went missing, it's clear he has become..."
"Become what," I asked edging her to continue. Naylie touched my shoulder shaking her head. "No more secrets," I demanded staring at Naylie.
