"Don't play games with me, foreigner! Bring me the gun you shot at that freakish monster!"
Myunghoon was blatantly demanding Aran to handover the gun that he had on him. But Aran replied with his hand gestures showing there was nothing on him while smiling around looking innocent.
"You're getting on my nerve, guys let show him not to mess with Goryean" the people tagging along with him were reluctant at first but after knowing the intention of this boss of theirs, they wholeheartedly agree with him. Having a gun by their side sounds great when there's a monster lurking around.
They slowly approached Aran with their hands ready to deal with him in case he try to run off. Some cracking their knuckles while some stretching their fingers trying to show manliness and dominance.
For one thing, they watched way too many Goryeo gangster movies. Aran chuckled a bit seeing this spectacle happening in front of him.
'How humanity is so fickle…'
He laughed at how human reacted when under a certain strenuousness situation. He himself could think off a better solution, banding together with the intention of working together with the sole purpose of surviving together yet it didn't happen.
What's happening right now was exactly the bad scenario that he thought off. People finding out he had a gun and try to take it away from him while resorting to violence. Really show how weak humanity is, thought Aran.
"Ah, I had my hopes up for nothing…"
As Aran decided on what his next course of action, the movement of his body stopped as he felt the vibration of the building shaking as if it was minutes away from crumbling.
But then the trembling became stronger, even the four company bullies stopped on their track as they too felt it. One of them took a few steps back as he pointed out something in the sky while his mouth was mumbling something.
That man couldn't take it anymore as he fled away from the roof. The rest turned their eyes to the sky and they themselves shook in their boots or in this case their suave office shoes.
Aran noticed the frightened look on their face, as he slightly glanced to his back.
A huge shadow loomed over him as the gigantic size of this thing shrouded the sun from being seen. Be aware that Aran was at the rooftop of a 24th-floor building and this thing easily towered over the building.
Aran's eyes were glued at this giant as he could only sigh with his expression still appeared as calm as the tranquil sea. The rest of those people who were trying to threatened him were already away fearing for their life while Myunghoon was on the floor pissing in his pants as his old legs gave away as he was stuck there leaving fate with his life.
'Just great another problem I need to worry about…'
He complained internally as he observed this gigantic size creature.
A serpent with blackish blue scales covering its entire body with a towering height of reaching 250 meters was slithering its body while the front part of its body was arching up straight showing itself as a terrifying existence. Odd patterns adorned each and every scale of this serpent as Aran noticed it while it was slithering through the road.
Its blood color eyes were like a warning to those who saw it. Two sharp sword-like fangs were protruding out from its upper jaw a showcase of its deadly arsenal yet the most bizarre thing about this titan size serpent was none other than the horn on top of its head. A single horn glimmering like onyx, the surface was uneven yet the sharp pointed end was a menace to anything that blocks its path.
Aran was speechless seeing this serpent. At least the serpent didn't attack him since the serpent was only passing through the road while its body slightly bumped into the building around it destroying those concrete building easily like a Lego building.
Down below screams and cries for help were resounding as they were the most unfortunate, they were running away for their dear lives as the slithering body of the serpent was wrecking the road with its huge size and weight. Some were already splattered to death by the titanic serpent.
From what Aran observed, the serpent didn't care about the humans as it probably thought human as nothing much other than mere ants. Easy to trample with.
He watched from the top of the roof as the serpent passed through the city of Seoul leaving nothing but rubble and ruins. The mutated fishes were already a problem and now this a gigantic serpent running loose in Seoul, the law enforcement had their hands full dealing with these kinds of things but Aran doubted that they would be enough contain such monsters.
Even when the serpent had left the district of his office building he could still towering monster from afar, he shook his head seeing such a thing. He ignored the serpent rampaging through the roads of Seoul as he glanced at the frozen Myunghoon who was pissing his pants.
Again he shook his head. A man like this wanted to threaten him? It was really embarrassing for him the one who was the victim, at least the bully should act tough but here was he now on the rooftop floor in a pathetic state.
With nothing else to do, he walked away from the roof as his stomach grumble.
'Well since the world is going to end might be good to go fill this stomach of mine before some action heading on my way.'
'Hmm, on a day like this, grill eel sounds great!'
He left the rooftop and headed towards the elevator.
