Happenings at Ashnakara

The next day, Fenrir went out of his cave and approached Jay and the group who were just a few steps away from his cave. The only one who was awake at this time was Jay and everyone else was asleep. Rodrick even had a donut on his hand as he slept.

"Chicken Hero. How long are you going to stay here in Aexelor? It has been a day already." Fenrir said as he looked at Jay.

"I'll leave together with these guys when they wake up." Jay replied.

After hearing Jay's reply, Fenrir looked at the mountain behind him, where his cave was also located.

"If you guys are good to go, climb the mountain until you reach the peak. The planar gateway is located there." Fenrir said before returning to his cave.

"Seriously? He isn't going to give us a lift?" Jay thought to himself and wondered how many days will it take for them to climb the mountain. It was just too tall that he couldn't even see its peak from where he was standing at.

--- Scarlet Witches' Hideout

Located on a certain valley deep within the Doomsday Region of Ashnakara, the place looked like an ordinary village. The villagers did stuff like farming, woodcutting, and so on.

But in reality, the village was actually the hideout of the Scarlet Witches. And obviously, the villagers are the Scarlet Witches themselves.

The Scarlet Witches were all followers of the Goddess of Evil and every one of them had a Spirit Power form that is related to fire. And the special thing about the Scarlet Witches is their bloodline, which allows them to tap into an extra source of power within their bodies that makes them immune to fire and allows them to increase the power, heat, and other properties of the fires they make.

Currently, Roasted Boar, the Chicken Lord, and Nuggets were here. Even though it looks like a day only passed for Jay the moment he got back to this dimension, for everyone else here, it has been already a week.

Inside one of the wooden houses of the village, Roasted Boar and the Chicken Lord were currently having a heated conversation.

"So you're saying we should just forget him and move on? How could you say such a thing after he saved our asses plenty of times! In truth is, I won't even be alive right now if it was not for him doing whatever he did." The Chicken Lord shouted loudly as he smacked the table with his fist.

"Just accept it already! No matter what you do, Jay is gone!" Roasted Boar shouted angrily.

"Then you and everyone else can piss off! Nuggets and I are going to continue the task Jay left unfinished! Besides, aren't you the one being selfish, to immediately cut off your ties with the Golden Phoenix just to indulge in your pleasures of reaching the very top?!!" The Chicken Lord said as he punched the table again, this time, turning it into dust.

"Who cares dimwit?!! Jay is gone, the Fatelord Plane's assault on Darkkonia failed, and sooner or later, the Golden Phoenix will be disbanded since there is nothing else left to fight for."

Before the Chicken Lord could even continue speaking, Roasted Boar stood up and continued shouting out his thoughts.

"Do you know why everything ended up this way? It is because Jay is a spineless coward! A weakling!"

The Chicken Lord suddenly punched Roasted Boar in the face while his face warped in anger.

"Don't you dare speak about Jay like that!"

"Like I give a shit about him and some chickens!" Roasted Boar shouted as he stood up and used his wooden staff to hit the Chicken Lord in his balls.

The Chicken Lord staggered since he felt a bit of damage from this and just as he was about to throw some feathers at Roasted Boar...

"From this day on, all of you can go fuck yourselves. You can go back to me begging for mercy when I rule over every last one of the irresponsible motherfuckers that rule over this world! You can lick my shoes when I shatter every plane and rebuild it into a new world!" After saying this, Roasted Boar vanished from sight and the feathers that the Chicken Lord threw got stuck on the walls of the house.

"Damn it!"

The Chicken Lord leaned on the wall as he sat down. He gritted his teeth and clenched his hands into a fist.

"Jay... why did you do it? Besides me and Nuggets, everyone of our friends is gone. Each and every one of them went on their separate ways. Just why did you have to do it?" The Chicken Lord said softly and started feeling gloomy.

"Big bro..."

Nuggets suddenly went in the wooden house and she was holding a Golden Phoenix emblem on her beak. She is currently in her normal chicken form.

"Any news back at the Fatelord Plane?" The Chicken Lord asked Nuggets.

"No... ever since Roasty told everyone about what Jay did, the Golden Phoenix kingdom slowly got smaller and smaller. May it be the people in the Golden Phoenix, the Fatelords, or the rest of our allies, they all felt disappointed and angry when they learned about Jay. It has been a four days already since the Golden Phoenix emblem activated."

Nuggets jumped on the Chicken Lord's arms and tried to comfort him.

"Big bro... why is everyone acting like that?" Nuggets asked as he suddenly started crying.

"Who knows... humans are a bit fickle when it comes to the bonds with their family or friends." The Chicken Lord replied as he hugged Nuggets.

"Then what about Heda and Lydia? They're not humans... so why?" Nuggets asked again.

"I don't know... but what I do know is that Jay made a terrible mistake when he killed himself. He was like the link that was supposed to connect everyone with each other, but the moment he killed himself, he broke this link and everyone went astray. Hellson once told me that Jay had something called a Player's Curse, so I am guessing everything was caused by this." The Chicken Lord said and wondered what Jay was doing in the afterlife, oblivious to the fact that Jay is at Aexelor right now.
