Turns out Misha did not find happiness in boats, rather he found that he hated the sensation of water swaying his equilibrium back and forth. In short he was seasick. With Wyatt's help, Misha was barely able to navigate the small tugboat beneath the cliff. When he got back up he would secure a cable to zip down to the deck of the ship if he ever needed to get away in a pinch. He made sure to keep seasickness medicine on the boat at all times.

Misha: "It's about time to go back. I need to make sure the intruders never come back."

Misha made a stockpile of bombs and explosives in addition to the traps. The group invading was no different from the one before it. After being repelled the group started to slander Misha as a selfish exploiter who wants to take advantage of his fellow man.

Three months passed like that. Misha continued to fortify his base without rest. He managed to gain a significant amount of firearms from the naval armory before it could be cleaned out by the other residents. Occasionally people would come to try to take over while others came to try to talk Misha into cooperating with them. It didn't matter to Misha, he drove out the intruders and ignored anyone trying to talk. Once in a while there would be a few curious people who would try to catch a glimpse of Misha. In the end Misha became shrouded in mystery. Misha rarely left the building after he stockpiled supplies from nearby restaurants and hardware stores. Even if someone did see Misha they did not believe he was the owner of the infamous resort.

[Misha, the person I've told you about is coming.]

Misha paused his hand mid stroke but continued as if nothing happened.

Misha: "Is this group any stronger than it was before? I'm a lot stronger than when I first arrived."

[Yes. But it looks like it's only the leader and his elite force that are stronger, the rest of his group actually got weaker. Be careful Misha, this fight won't be like the other small fries who have tried to invade.]

Misha's stiffened. (There it is again. That feeling. Wyatt is…worried about me.)

After three months of living with Wyatt in his head, Misha was still surprised with the knowledge that someone was concerned for his well being. In fact, he didn't understand what the feeling was at first only that it felt uncomfortable and foreign yet as warm as his ears and face burned. It took him a while to figure out the feelings were mostly concern and sometimes pride. At the time he was shocked by the discovery and asked Wyatt not to listen to his thoughts until he sorted out his own feelings. For now he allowed Wyatt to continue but it was difficult for him to accept.

Misha: "Uh…right. I'll be careful. When are they going to get here and how many?"

[Looks like they are planning a night raid. They are gathering intel and combat power to go against you. There will be 100 in total but only the tenth that have powers will be able to make it through.]

Misha: "What are their powers?"

[Two are able to manipulate water, four are able to generate fire, there is a wind and two earth user respectively and the leader is a psychic user.]

Misha: "A psychic ability. No wonder you said the leader was strong, I'm assuming his ability will fall under the mental interference category?"

[Correct. I will be able to block most of the interference so the effects will be weakened when used against you but this guy has a nasty habit of using his ability on his own people as well. He will manipulate them to believe the only options are to kill you or they will die. Misha, you're going to have to kill them.]

Misha had a complicated expression: "I see…"

Misha worked throughout the whole day getting ready for tonight. He didn't dwell too much on what he would ultimately have to do. He just focused on the task at hand.

As night approached, a crowd gathered at the bottom of the hill. Slightly away from the crowd a small group led by a large buff looking man wearing a muscle shirt was discussing secretly.

Buff man: "We will move in ten man teams. Each team will be led by one of us. Bart, Geo, David and Joe you four have the flashiest abilities so you'll be the vanguards and lead the main force from the front. Put the weakest and blacklisted members in the very front so they can scout out the traps. Tiffany and Julia use your water abilities to scale up the ocean facing side of the cliff. Your men will follow the main force and keep the occupant busy. From what we've gathered there should only be one person living in there. Steve and Nicki you two will enter from the western side while Bobby and I come from the east."

Steve: "Hey Keith, can we get rid of the deadweight after we take over the place? I mean yeah this place is a great base but it'll be too small for us if we keep all the extras yah know?"

Keith: "We'll see. We need about half of the slaves to clean the place when we are all done but I don't think the deadweight will be a problem. I estimate we will lose at least 2/3 of the slaves tonight but we can always find more. It's the apocalypse after all. When we're done dump the injured over the cliff. We don't want to dirty our new base."

Geo: "Let's hurry up and get this over with already. We have a lot more shit to be done if we want to take over the port."

Tiffany: "Girl what's the rush once we all meet up we'll do what we always do and make this guy wish he never even looked at our base in the first place. Besides it's not like you have to do anything except walk in while me and Julia have to climb a fucking mountain."

Bobby: "Oh please, you women are always complaining about something. My feet hurt~, my nail's broken! my hair's a mess!. This is why I say women need to wear a muzzle around their mouth and just spread their legs. At least then you'll actually be useful."

Nicki: "What'd you say Bobby? You better be careful how you talk or I might just accident miss your stomach and burn something off. Then again it would be pretty hard since your stomach is such a big target while your dick is smaller than a bullseye."

Nicki's fist was glowing yellow with heat as she walked towards Bobby. Backing her up were Tiffany, Julia, and Geo. The four women were ready to jump him when all of them clutched their heads in pain.

Keith: "All of you shut up and get ready before I chain you up and throw you to the zombies.

Nobody knows we are going to come tonight and I intend to keep that way."

The group went silent and scurried off to their task. Keith didn't make empty threats. They had seen enough on their time on the road to know that.

[Misha get ready.]

Misha: "I already am."
