Earth Hospital

BEEP ...

BEEP ...

BEEP ...

Athyne awoke to find himself lying in a hospital bed with several IV tubes attached to him attached to red bags of liquid hanging from a IV rack. The room was small, walls blue and it contained two occupied beds with life support monitors next to them.

The last thing Athyne remembered prior to waking up was being attacked by a teenager wielding a knife.

"Kids these days," muttered Athyne thoughtfully, "... those hormones are out of control."

Athyne carefully examined the tubes inserted into him and realised that they were filled with a red substance that was flowing into him.

"Ahhh! Ahhhh!!! Ahhh!!," screamed Athyne suddenly in a panic.

A pretty petite young brown skinned nurse ran into the room. She ran to Athyne, grabbed his hand and said, "Sir, calm down. You were badly injured! The doctors patched you up! It is normal to be traumatized by such an extreme event. Would you like for me to call a doctor?"

"Just tell me one thing ...," said Athyne tearing up.

"If it is about your friend I-," said the nurse hesitantly.

"Nurse!," said Athyne, "What are these tubes putting into my blood?"

"Well, you lost a lot of blood, and we couldn't find any relatives or identification on you," said the nurse, "they are blood packages to stabilize you."

"Is blood vegetarian?," whispered Athyne horsely.

Athyne and the nurse glared at each other with pale faces as their eyes widened.

"I-," said the nurse with her eyes watering up, "I- ..."

"My god," stammered Athyne as his lower lip quivered.

"I don't know!," the nurse yelled as tears streamed down her face, "because I am not a real nurse! WAAAAAAAaaaaAAAAAhhhhHHHHHH!"

The girl dressed as a nurse ran out of the hospital room as a stream of tears flew out behind her.

Athyne stared after her with an expression of disbelief.

"What the hell?," muttered a bald wrinkly old man hooked up to iv tubes on a bed across from Athyne.

"Old man," said Athyne glancing at the man.

"Are you talking to me?," asked the old man.

"Yes," said Athyne. "Can you answer my question?"

"I know the answer to your question," said the old man as his face became super serious. "However ..."

"However?," repeated Athyne.

"I-I-I ... I am only ten years old," said the old man, "I am NOT an old man."

The old man crossed his arms and stubbornly turned away from Athyne.

Athyne put his head back on the pillow and muttered to himself, "My god ..."

"I am insulted by your comment and will never speak to you again," squealed the old man clearly holding back tears.

"What am I thinking," said Athyne relaxing, "Of course blood is vegetarian. It isn't a meat. I must have been out for a while. I only become this dull if I haven't had a vege-pop in a while. Gotta get those micro-nutrients ..."

"Hello Sir," said a female voice.

Athyne looked up to see the girl who had previously been dressed up as a nurse, now dressed as a doctor.

"My god," gasped Athyne.

"My name is Rey," she said, "I am your doctor."

"You are the fake nurse," said Athyne pointing his finger at the girl. "Are you trying to kill me by impersonating a health care professional?"

"SEXISM!," screamed the old man in the bed across from Athyne.

"What!? ... me!? ... ," said Rey as her eyes teared up, "... fake?"

"I just saw her a second ago dressed as a nurse!," said Athyne looking at the old man, "she admitted to being fake! She clearly isn't even a doctor!"

"What is going on here?," said a sultry female voice.

Athyne glanced to the door and saw a petite attractive black haired teenage girl wearing nothing but a blue embroidered see-through silk robe.

Rey ran to her bawling tears and hugged her.

"You animal," scowled the old man, "first you called me old and next you called Rey a fake!"

"He is only ten years old!," wailed Rey, "do you enjoy being such a horrible person? I spent so many years slaving in medical school and you people only respect me this much!?"

Athyne's mouth dropped in disbelief.

"I am a heartless man," Athyne muttered to himself.

"Shhhh ...," purred the girl in silk robes, "Now that Mama Gadra is here, everything will be alright."

Rey looked up at Gadra, while still hugging her, and then said, "I am the only doctor on shift now in this department. The hospital is closed, visiting hours are over, you have to leave."

"Well hunny," said Gadra huskily. "I am here to see that man."

Gadra pointed at Athyne.

"So beautiful!!," sighed the old man. "Make sweet love to my innocent ten year old virgin body!"

"Have you no shame Johnny?," gasped Rey. "Behave yourself!"

"I don't know her," said Athyne.

"Always welcome the presence of unfathomable beautiful women you uncircumcised brute!," yelled Johnny.

"You Johnny," said Athyne, "need to go vegetarian, you are an old looking young man. Going vegetarian will help you look younger and tame your animalistic sexual impulses."

Gadra looked at Athyne in disbelief.

"Baby, you are the first man I've ever encountered to be impervious to my sexuality," whispered Gadra, "that's so hot."

"Young skinny women are so full of themselves," said Athyne raising his nose to the air.

"He must be more powerful than I imagined," whispered Gadra in disbelief, "or gay ..."

"I am not gay!," said Athyne as his eyes watered up, "not all male vegetarians are gay! Just the majority of them! I had a girlfriend in kindergarten!"

"Gay is a derogatory term!," wailed Johnny. "This man should be kicked out of the hospital for such extreme human rights violations!"

"You are weird," said Rey looking at Athyne.

"Now baby," said Gadra looking down at Rey, "let me speak to Athyne. Please stop hugging me. I hope you are feeling better now."

"I am not hugging you," said Rey looking up at Gadra, "I am removing you."

Rey then flexed her muscles, and they bulged out from under her doctors uniform ripping her sleeves. Gadra squealed in shock struggling as she struggled to remove Rey's arms with no avail.

"I am a goddess," yelled Gadra as Rey carried Gadra out of the room,"I am the most powerful being in this realm! Unhand me!"

"What is going on here?," muttered Athyne, "... and what happened to my vege-pop? I had one before I was stabbed. Do you know Johnny?"

Athyne glanced across at Johnny.

Johnny had curled up into a ball on his bed and was crying muttering, "Beautiful lady is gone, our relationship had only just begun, yet is was so strong. Then it ended so abruptly."

Athyne expression darkened upon hearing Johnny's comment he said, "Yeah, you two did seem close ... were you setting me up?"

"You felt our connection too right!?," gasped Johnny, "I should have called it off with Rey before starting a new relationship. She got upset and took my one true love away."

"I don't think that is what happened," said Athyne frowning.

Johnny ignored Athyne's comment and continued to cry.

"This lack of plant power is making me tired," said Athyne.

Athyne closed his eyes and fell into a deep slumber, comforted by Johnny's sobbing.

"Baby, wake up," whispered a sultry voice. "Wake up now, I do not have the time for this. If you don't I'll drop you."

Athyne opened his eyes to find himself hanging upside down off the hospital roof, he was only held up by a rope that had been tied around his legs. Next to him, hanging was Rey. She was tied up, gagged and and struggling. Gadra was holding them over the ledge by the ropes with one hand.

Looking down Athyne realised how high he was.

"What is the meaning of this?," asked Athyne solemnly, "just so you know, I am not afraid of heights."

Looking to up he saw Gadra standing above him. The wind blew her silk robe exposing her subtle flawless naked skin and voluptuous exposed petite breasts.

"You are exposed," muttered Athyne staring up, "I can see everything. Have you no shame?"

"What are you talking about?," hissed Gadra frustrated, "you and your friends are weird!"

"This is patient abuse," said Athyne. "Women like you are the reason girls haven't gotten the right to vote everywhere in the world, even today ..."

"Because of how I dress?," hissed Gadra.

"No," said Athyne, "its your communication skills. You are using force without us even having had a proper conversation."

"Listen," said Gadra visibly annoyed. She kneeled down on the ledge bringing her head closer to Athyne. Her volumptous soft breast wobbled slightly from the movement, "I want to know how you were able to kill Lilith and turn into that overwhelming powerful white creature. Tell me of anything unusual you've experienced lately."

"I didn't kill anyone," said Athyne.

Gadra smacked her forehead and said, "That's right, I reversed time, you were hospitalized and you didn't transform like you did in the alternate timeline."

"But I want to," growled Athyne. "I want to kill the managers who fired me and ruined my life."

"How are you even alive?," said Gadra. "Your skull was cracked open. You were a bloody mess just a week ago. You WERE dead."

Athyne shrugged his shoulders and said, "the miracle of modern medicine and a vegetarian diet ..."

"Answer me seriously," hissed Gadra, "I know you know more than you let on. You aren't normal. Not after what I saw you do in the alley."

"Ahhhh," said Athyne, "You mean killing that blond woman in the alley after I killed that man? But that was in an alternate timeline."

"You remember!?," gasped Gadra, "but how!?"

Athyne remained silent as a thoughtful look spread across his face.

"Answer me!," yelled Gadra glancing over her shoulder nervously.

"I know what this is about," said Athyne, "you want me to hook you up with Johnny! All women get cranky and rude when they like a boy but don't know how to approach him."

The annoyance and frustration melted off of Gadra's face as an expression of melancholy replaced it, "I see ... you have brain damage. You couldn't have come out of that attack undamaged ..."

The space behind Gadra started to ripple, as it slowly began to tear.

"I guess our time is up," said Gadra glancing at the ripple, "I'll see you later!"

Gadra lifted Rey and Athyne up, placed them on the roof of the hospital, grabbed Athyne's face and forcefully french kissed him. Following this, she jumped off the roof of the hospital. A moment later, the sound of a motorcycle driving away could be heard.

An expression of shock spread across Athyne's face, and he gasped, "She stole my first kiss. At the age of fifty years old, I have just lost my virginity to a random teenage girl ..."

Space began to tear where the air rippled and within the spatial tear the dark outlines of two mysterious people could be seen.
