Race Abilities

When they had all got back to the spawning hole. John sat down with the rest of his brothers to brainstorm there next form of action.

[Brother, I think we should take care of the mysterious presence, you said you felt.] Goliath replied signing rapidly.

[We can use where it lives and form a shelter over there.]

"Your right, but what I'm worried about is how strong the creature is. We are only about 16 strong, losing any one of us would be detrimental to our future." John replied to Goliath.

[Concerning that, brother, how were you so strong. You managed to fell a mighty tree with just one swing.] Goliath said again this time, awe filling his voice.

"Yes, how could I be so stupid. I have not tested if it was only me that can absorb the mysterious energy from the bodies of other creatures."

Telling the rest of his brothers to stay, John signaled for Goliath to bring some berries and follow him. With a giant leaf full of berries both Goliath and John went into the forest.

After searching for some time he found a hole. John signaled for Goliath to put some of the berries next to the whole. As soon as Goliath put the berry he was called back by John and they both hid behind a tree.

It did not take long for a head to pop out from the hole. The moment the lizard came out to eat the berry, John rushed out to capture it. This time he was careful not to break its neck.

Holding the squirming lizard by the neck. John signaled for Goliath to come and kill the lizard he was holding.

Holding the lizard still, he gave Goliath a rock to kill the lizard. Goliath declined and just directly snapped the neck of the lizard.

Nothing like what happened to him occurred in Goliath. Just as he was sure nothing would happen, the weird tribal markings started to glow and squirm around like a python.

Goliath was covered in a bright red light. Soon enough the light died down, when Goliath was revealed, John was shocked to see that Goliath had completely changed. His skin had turned a little scaly, not unlike the lizard.

Not only that, he had gained claws and fangs, and he had definitely turned taller. Happy at the revelation John signaled for Goliath to grab a lure a couple more lizard and capturing them alive.

During this even he noticed that not only had Goliath's appearance change. His attributes had changed too.

He was stronger and more reactive but what was really shocking was the change in his speed.

John wasn't sure but he thought that if he didn't use his energy, Goliath would be faster than him.

After capturing five lizards, he brought Goliath back to change more of his brothers. The moment he got back to the spawning hole. His brothers were shocked at the changed Goliath, he could see that there respect towards him had increased once again.

Choosing five random brothers, he gave them a rock before telling them to go smash the head of a lizard. Soon there were five change brothers.

Their appearances were similar to Goliath. They had also all felt an increase on their attributes though not as much as Goliath. He called the 5 change imps David, Titus, Theo, Mike, and finally Beta.

Though he was quite happy at their transformation. He was quite disappointed that he did not have a similar change. But his sadness was soon wiped off when he realized that his abilities made him way more powerful than his brothers.

When he killed an animal not only were his attributes increase, he also had that mysterious energy he could always use.

Also, the way that the first lizard corpse disappeared was quite mysterious, John was sure that something was waiting in surprise for him.

Gathering all of his change brothers, he directed them towards the hole and they started a lizard luring operation. In an hour or so they had managed to capture 13 more lizards before the decision to go back home.

Giving a stone to the rest of his brother, it did not take long for his group of brothers to totally change. Looking around and feeling quite satisfied with his recent progress in the two days in this world.

He felt that getting stronger was a sure way to survive in the strange world. Looking at the 3 more lizard, he decided to kill them to see if his energy would change.

With a squeeze of his hand, he snapped the neck of one of the lizards.

He could feel the energy flow into his cave again so close. Looking at the other lizard he also snapped its legs. This time he could feel his cave being overflowed right over the spilled energy was spilled right over his body.

For whatever reason, the energy that was spilled was absorbed by his muscle. Like the first time, he absorbed energy he could feel his body starting to ache but not as much as the first time. It didn't take long and he stopped feeling any pain.

Moving his body he felt like he was faster and stronger than it was before. It was an overall increase in his abilities but most of all he felt that the energy in his cave felt more refined, purer if he could say that.

Moving around he tested the limits of his speed and power. Happy at the increase in his attributes, John went and compared with his brother. Though it was a bit unfair, they were all having fun as they raced each other.

John did not dare use his full strength not wanting any unforeseen consequences. But he was still having fun beating all of his brothers.

What really shocked was Goliath even though he could not beat John he was able to match John speed which was quite shocking.

After going and capturing a few other lizards for dinner they all huddled together spending another successful day in the new world.
