While Lake had been immersed in his system, someone somewhere else was immersed as well.
Gregory was in his room pacing around while mumbling to himself.
'How?! How is he still alive?!' He screamed in his heart. 'There should've been evo beasts all around him, it's not possible to escape without the warding charm! That's not something a piece of trash like him should have so how?!'
At the thought of Lake's smirk the day before Gregory began thrashing his room. From his desk to his bed, nothing was spared. In the end his room became a mess, but he couldn't care less at the moment.
What he was most worried about was what would happen if Lake told the school or police what he did. If that happened then not even the family would be able to save him.
If Lake had died and someone found out it was him it would've all been fine. No one would go to the trouble of offending his family for a dead person. But since Lake survived, that means he attempted murder on a citizen of the state.
The best case would be Gregory just getting expelled, the worse case would be him getting stripped of his family name and home, being sent off into the streets to fend for himself.
'No! That can't be allowed to happen! That piece of trash hasn't told anybody what happened yet, but who knows when he will. I can't let that risk happen, I need to take him out, for good this time!' A crazed look shone in Gregory's eyes when he thought of this.

Arriving at school Lake headed up to class as usual, but before he entered the building he could feel something cold from behind.
Because of his training session last night his senses were heightened incredibly, thus allowing him to sense things that normally can't be felt. Although he could sense it, he had no idea what he was feeling. It wasn't until later on that Lake realized it was bloodlust.
Turning around Lake saw a few scorns come his way but nothing out of the ordinary. So he ignored it and continued walking to class.
In a corner hidden from view, Gregory was staring at the place Lake had just stood while gnashing his teeth.
'Lake... you should have died in the forest! Maybe then you would've had a peaceful death.' Gregory gave a sinister chuckle before walking up to class as well.
After class...
Lake packed up his stuff and was just about to head to the armory when a few people stood at the entrance in his way.
He wrinkled his brows and asked, "Is there a problem here guys?"
"Hm? No, we're just standing here talking, is that against the rules?" The largest of the three sneered as he looked at Lake.
The students around seemed to notice something and turned to look at the entrance, a few realized what was going on and started whispering to each other.
The three students blocking the door were known followers of Gregory while he terrorized the weaker students. And now it looked like Lake became a target once more.
Every time Lake tried to leave they'd move their bodies to make sure he couldn't, the strange thing was that they didn't do anything other than prevent him from leaving. Even the simplest of people would realize that they were waiting for something.
Sure enough an arrogant voice was heard from outside the classroom.
"Lake get your ass out here!"
A strange look washed over Lake's face when he heard the voice as it belonged to Gregory. 'What is he doing this time? Even if he wanted to beat me he wouldn't be yelling out at me like this.' Though confused Lake still complied since he had no other choice.
"What do you want this time Gregory, if you're just looking to waste my time I'm not in the mood today." Lake said.
"Come on Lake, and here I thought we were friends. Hehe, I just thought I'd like to have a spar with you and give you some pointers." Gregory said in the most sincere sounding voice.
Yet nothing could hide the malicious intent within his eyes, everyone knew that 'giving pointers' was just an excuse.
"A spar? Seriously? You're joking if you think I'm gonna spar with you." With a cold voice Lake tried to walk off when the three goons blocking the door suddenly surrounded him.
"Hey! You should be grateful the great Gregory is willing to give you some tips."
"Yeah, who knows, maybe you'll get a pinch of Gregory's greatness."
Lake sighed at the scene in front of him as he knew there was probably no getting out of this.
"That's the spirit, come on buddy. I'll impart all my knowledge onto you." Gregory said as he threw his arm around Lake's shoulders like they were best friends.
The only place they could go to 'spar' was the gym as it had small areas designated for sparring to allow students to hone their techniques against each other. It was known however, that it was also a place to resolve disputes.
The school normally ignored these kinds of things as it allowed the students to release their negative emotions and so they could rid themselves of any distractions. They only disallowed the usage of powers, and that once a battle had reached a certain point it must be stopped before any irreversible damage occurred.
Seeing Gregory and his goons lead Lake towards the gym, the rest of the class followed behind not wanting to miss the show.
When they got to the gym there were only a few students inside doing their own things while the sparring rings were empty.
The few students inside noticed the large group of people following behind Gregory and Lake and were bewildered.
"What's going on? Did someone famous show up or something?"
Gregory and Lake went to the center of the square ring while the group that followed went to the surroundings.
