After my lunch with Mia I returned to the game and continued with my trip towards bandit lair. I'm nearing the edge of the forest so I could just cut straight through it to bandit cave, but unlike these fields forest is full of monsters and it would take me a lot of time to pass it considering I won't be able to run anymore and I will have to sneak all the way to the lair.
It took me full four hours until I reached the part of the forest where I'm supposed to go, this part of the forest is full of spiders and all other kind of bugs. Why did I single out spiders? Because I HATE SPIDERS! No I'm not afraid of them, I just hate them, I find most bug like creatures cute but spiders are plain disgusting. I feel my stomach turn every time I see a spider and they creep me out and I just have to kill it, let's just hope I will be able to sneak past most if not all of them…
But looks like luck isn't on my side today, it didn't pass even half an hour before I stumbled upon a spider, these spiders are called Ghost weavers and they have translucent body, you know what's creepier than a spider? A see through spider!
We started fighting and I have to admit, dodging eight legs is quite taxing, this spider is quite fragile, like a glass, it really looks like they are made of glass, but the problem with glass is that it's still sharp. My training did pay off in the end and I managed to kill it with only few scratches here and there but damn, if I made throwing weapons out of their legs it would've been quite lethal. This of course made me think it's a good idea and I broke of its legs into pieces and made makeshift throwing needles or daggers if I may correct myself because the size of it definitely doesn't look like a needle.
Stupid spider gave me quite a nice amount of EXP, looks like they would be easy farm for those who are quite nimble on their feet; I must admit I was tempted by the thought of clearing this part of the forest, just by doing so I bet I could level up once or twice at least. After auto looting the spider I got its crystal core, oh right I didn't explain about that right? Well some monsters in this game have a core somewhere inside their bodies, those cores sell for handsome sum of money and at first no one will know their use, but later everyone will want more cores and their price will skyrocket but there will be too few of them. Cores have various uses, every profession can use them to craft something but even those who focus only on their combat classes have use for them, you can extract certain element from a core and strengthen yourself with it, of course element of the core has to match your element or else core will just explode and you wasted both gold and power up, not to mention that core explosion hurts like a freaking truck slammed you.
Now that I think about it all that talk about cultivating inside the game starts to make sense a little, although I still think it's crazy but honestly a part of me is excited about it, I mean who doesn't dream of superpowers and stuff like that as kids, honestly even adults would go crazy over it and act all childish if they had a chance to obtain some power, of course most of them would be corrupted by it and the world would fall into chaos because of it, but I guess the game company and world government union already thought about it and they probably have a solution for it. Which reminds me, Gab told me I can find cultivation technique inside the game but their location is uncertain so I have to find it on my own. I have to admit I was somewhat spoiled by all the info he gave me so I'm not really used to thinking on my own in this game, but well, I can only depend on myself, if I'm too dependent on Gab and his information I'm doomed to fail before I even started.
Well long and boring story short, after killing 16 spiders and 3 freaking hours of sneaking around I finally escaped freaking spider area, but that's all the good news because the bad news are I still have to cross inner forest area and then climb up the stupid mountain and find the bandit lair. But before that let me show you fruits of my labor, and yes I'm bragging and I have full rights for that!

Meaning that each spider gave me 8 EXP, 6 were basic and 2 were bonus for cross level kill, it does sound a little but I was sneaking around most of the time, if I just focused on killing those spiders I would've already leveled up by now, considering it took me 3 hours to sneak around. But now comes the fun part, scaling a steep mountain without a fixed road, well there is a road but bandits use it and I want to avoid them before I reach their lair, why you ask? Well stay tuned to find out.
