Insulation Room

Leona got out of the car and looked around. She was frowning and sat on the road helplessly. Adam just stood next to her silently. He was leaning against the car and his head looked at the grass. Even though they kept silent, but they both actually talking to each other.

Leona was surprised that she could hear Adam's voice in her head. They even debating in the thoughts.

Leona: ( Who are you? ) She looked up at his face who was standing next to her.

Adam: (You will know soon. Right now your mind was sealed by your parents.)

Leona: "My parents? I don't even remember I have parents. I was ..I was…" She almost shouted and stood up really close to him.

Leona tried to recall back her childhood. It was nothing. She couldn't remember anything. Her memory started when she entered her life as the student of the University.

Adam just looked at her and waited for the next the questions from her.

Leona: "I always thought I was all by myself. " She talked to herself.

Leona then stopped from thinking of anything because she knew that Adam was right there to hear everything. It was not comfortable at all when someone could hear everything in your mind clearly. There was a lot of thing she need to sort of but right now she needed to empty her mind right away.

Adam: (What are you thinking Leona? Don't you want to ask me? Just ask me.)

His voice was penetrating her brain.

Leona: "Stop it! I don't want to hear it. I want to go home!" She raised her voice toward him.

(Just let me go. I can't stand it here. )

Adam: "I will arrange everything for you. But you only can go out by tomorrow. "

Leona: "It is true? No lies?"

Adam: "It's true. The helicopter will come by tomorrow. You can listen to my conversation if you still not believe me."

He suggested for her to go with him to the controller room the of the manor. She agreed to go with him. He brought her to the controller room at the level three of the manor. The room was only had a telephone on a table and nothing else. Absolutely vanishing the high expectation from Leona.

Leona: (Seriously? Only telephone?)

Adam: (We can call the pilot with this. Any problem with the phone?) He looked at her.

Leona didn't respond to the questions. She was actually quite embarrassed with her own statement. She just folded her arms and standing there as if there was nothing need to explain. Adam dialed the number and asking to talk with the pilot.

Operator: "Lord master, we are having difficulty right now. We could not send over the helicopter tomorrow. We had been attacked by the tornado few hours ago. We just retrieved the power. Everything was damage severely."

It was a suffice explanation made by the operator.

Adam: "Anybody hurt ?" he was worried with the sudden news.

Operator: "Everybody is fine. No injuries but quite numbers of properties we had loss as the the camp-based was totally wreck."

Adam: "Its okay, we can built again new based-camp."

Leona: "I'm doomed! If I asked when can I get out from this place, it would make me sound so selfish."

Leona purposely shared her inner thoughts loudly because it wont helped anyway to hide anything from so called immortal in front of her.

Leona: "How long shall I wait?" She asked him directly.

Adam: "We can sail out."

Leona: "Sailing?"

Adam: "Yes, this is an island. We can go out by a ship."

Leona: "Alright! Settled! I go to my room now. See you tomorrow."

Leona walked out from the so called controller room. She tried to find her room but then ended back to the controller room. She peeked into the room and saw Adam was still standing near the telephone. He was staring at the table with his empty gazing.

Leona knocked the door and made Adam realized that he was standing there for sometimes.

Leona: "Can you help me? I'm kind of lost."

He didn't answer but just walked in front of her. She felt a bit awkward when he didn't say anything to her. Or perhaps she felt a bit off by his improper treatment when he didn't responded in verbal to her request. It damaged her pride pretty much.

Leona: "Why you didn't answer me? I'm asking you."

She asked him while following him from the back. Suddenly he stopped from walking and Leona almost bumped into him. He turned around and Leona was only a few centimeters away from him. He was 6ft tall standing right in front of her who was only 5ft . She looked up. She could felt her heart suddenly beating really fast.

She tried very hard to empty her mind and heart. Adam looked at her and they could feel each others breath. Leona moved few steps to the back and then gave him a grinned and then relief a sigh after Adam turned away.

Adam also tried his best not to let Leona to hear his thought as he was afraid she would freaked out.

As their condition that time, it was not really a wise thing to do- to let Leona knew his thoughts at that time. The torture was so crazy difficult to handle.

He led her to her room. He open the door and stayed there until she walked into the room. Without saying anything he closed the door and walked away from the 1st floor. He went straight to his room which equipped with insulation from mind penetrate.
