Some very important information and updates there (especially if you are a paying user)!

The world ended in 2012. Hao Xuan was transported to a brand new place along with the rest of humanity. The novel follows his adventures through this vast new plane, fighting men and beasts alike, making friends, finding love, and etching out his own existence in the vast universe. All the monsters from your dreams, stories, and movies are real in this fantastical place. 

 

Authors notes: I know it might seem like things have taken a big turn out of nowhere around chapter 14, but I assure you that if you keep reading, it will ALL make sense (around chap 92 I believe is where its explained).
Remember, EVERYTHING is connected, more or less. The most insignificant things could have a huge impact on the story or the biggest thing could not influence it at all, at least not from what you can see.

The whole point of the novel is for you to be as surprised as the main character, feel what he is feeling etc, so some things have to be kept hidden. You won't always see things from every perspective. 

My advice, relax, put on some good music and read, its going to be an "experience" if I can get my vision out to you guys properly.

The Dawn of The New World

A lot has happened in the last few days and it affects the novel as well so you guys deserve to know.


The novel has officially been signed (non-exclusively) via a publisher that will host it through their side on Webnovel.


1. It will be moved to their account, or rather republished there.

2. Some chapters will be locked, some will be free.


3. Continuing forward this will allow me to give more time to the novel which means there will be a more stable release schedule, and depending on how well it does, more chapters per week than usual.


You can use fast passes to unlock locked chapters which u get daily just by checking in and voting. Or use coins if you're feeling generous and want to support the novel since that's the only revenue I get.


It is 19th October and it has been almost 1.5 months since the novel was signed and moved. 


Unfortunately, I vastly underestimated how much BS I would have to deal with from WN's side. They delete chapters without a word, won't let me edit my own synopsis or have any control at all. Plus I get just a 12% cut of the profits which is basically nothing.


The full novel will become available on Amazon. Re-edited and re-published there in Volumes of 100-120 chapters each. 


Overall, it will be cheaper to purchase from there rather than unlock chapters with coins. Plus, I will get a 70% cut of the profits rather than just the 12% that I'm getting right now from WN.

I want to assure everyone that I am still the only one in charge of the novel (at least story-wise) and its quality will not degrade (hopefully) in any way and I will keep trying my best to make it more enjoyable.


I have written some 5+ arcs and we are still on the first one so with this, fingers crossed, I can finally put in the time and effort that DNW deserves, unworthy as I may be.


The reason why I didn't sign with WN when I had the chance to almost 20 months ago now and kept everything free till now is also because I didn't want to lose creative control over the writing nor want it to be heavily paywalled.


Those of you that have been with the novel from the start might remember I even started my own website for a while to host the novel there but it was way too much work for just one person to handle and even that didn't end up going anywhere.


I know many of you guys might not like this but it is the only way I could continue to write in any real capacity.


I genuinely hope you will stick with the novel and give it enough of a chance for me to show you what it can blossom into.
