The year is 2055. Technology has advanced in leaps and bounds. Humanity has conquered climate change, and begun colonizing the solar system. The headsets first developed at the turn of the 21st century had improved drastically, but the goal of immersing oneself fully in a virtual world had seemed untouchable. Until now. A mysterious corporation known only as “Grey Wyvern Games” has released the GWG Dive 1.0, and with it the soon-to-be released “Royal Realm”, a VRMMORPG like no one has ever seen before. Meanwhile, our protagonist, Sammy Daniell, is leading a perfectly normal life as a college freshman in Chicago. How will he leave his mark on the Royal Realm?

Wow, and can I just say WOW. I was reading this expecting a stereotypical "muh isekai muh VR" webnovel, but damn, was I dead wrong. The first chapter intrigued me to no end, and I could not wait for more. I loved the rhythm of the author's style and how they paid such attention to the little details. Somehow, the second chapter was even better, cocking so many Chekhov's guns that remain to be fired, already weaving the plot together with a combo of witty twists on classic tropes and dry humor. Anyone looking for a captivating read, look no further. Expecting a spectacular third chapter, writer sama. (Traps aren't gay.)
Let's start out with the fact that the first chapter already got me hooked. It set up a world that seems so similar to what i have seen yet so new. I wanted to find a new book that suited my tastes as a person who enjoys books about different world (in this case a virtual reality world). At first i thought it would be like a clique story line but boy was i wrong. I was greeted with the main character living his life and greeted by a virtual reality straight off the bat. It was in depth but it was also short and readable.
