I'm Mad

"Ying Yue is my best friend as I am hers. Her business is my business the day we declared ourselves to be best friends so like hell this isn't my business. Even if we weren't best friends, the day she called knocking on my door with tears streaming down her face, it became my business".

"So what if you're her friend? I'm her husband", clenching his fists, Feng Yu declared.

"EX! Ex-husband, I WAS your wife 5 years ago, but not anymore. You made it clear years ago that you didn't want one, no, you didn't want me anymore" Ying Yue cried out loudly, finally turning around to face Feng Yu from her friend's embrace.

"Ying Yue, I know you're mad at me -" Feng Yu wanted to continue but Feng Mian threw the other heel at his head before he could finish. What an idiot, there was no way she was going to let that bastard continue to break her best friend's heart.

The last thing Ying Yue wanted to do was break in front of the man who broke her heart. But she couldn't help it. She was hurting inside, badly, and as much as she tried to hold it in ... she couldn't, not any longer.

"I'm not mad at you," Ying Yue bit her bottom lip as tears stung her cheeks "I'm mad at myself".

Feng Yu inched closer to Ying Yue, taking her hand in his, and if looks could kill, he would be dead beneath Feng Mian's glare.

Feng Yu's touch sent jolts of both bad and good feeling throughout Ying Yue's body, a rush of images went through her mind - what they used to be, who he was to her, what she always imagined they were together, and the reality of what they were now. Ying Yue yanked her hand free and shakingly grabbed onto Feng Mian.

"Stop," Ying Yue whispered, "Just stop".

Feng Yu stared at her, not knowing what to say and honestly, Ying Yue didn't expect him to have anything to say.

There Ying Yue stood, with hair as wild as a lion's mane, her eyes were swollen and pouring a river of black mascara down her face. She was leaning on Feng Mian to keep herself standing upright ... when all she wanted to do was curl up in a little ball and try to scream the hurt away.

"I love you ... and I'm mad at myself for believing that my love for you would be enough to carry us through anything", After a minute of silence, Ying Yue managed to find what was left of her voice and spoke the truth.

"Tch I don't love him," Feng Mian muttered while supporting Ying Yue. However, Feng Yu and Ying Yue were so into their thoughts that they didn't hear her.

"Ying Yue, I was wrong. I admit it. It was all my fault-"

Feng Mian cut him off before he could finish, "Oh please, save your breathe. Admitting your faults doesn't mean anything. It won't fix what you've done to her".
