The <Sovereign Nation>

After explaining to the group that it was all an accident, Boni could only slouch on his chair, seeming to have lost his appetite. Just then, he felt two hands patting him on the shoulder. He immediately sat up straight, as he felt someone get closer to his ear, then he heard a sweet feminine voice whisper in his ear, "Did you like what you saw?" Luna couldn't help but look appreciate the scene of Sura joking around like that, it seems that the short, but trying times they spent together, has already made her feel a sense of belonging. Sura felt Luna's sentiment in her soul, as she shot him a smile.

Boni immediately stood up, bowed down as low as he could and apologized profusely, while trying to defend himself.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt you two! In my defense, maybe it was a good thing, since getting pregnant in the apocalypse wouldn't be the smartest idea!"

Maria couldn't help but tease the two, "My my, you two only met not so long ago, and you're already doing the deed?"

"Now now, sister, what they do behind closed doors is none of our business." Clara added.

Apple's face couldn't help but flush red while Mabini laughed lightly on the side. This really did sound like teasing between family members.

"You guys, please, don't misunderstand, we weren't doing what Boni thought we were doing." Luna decided to stop it before it got out of hand, as he explained everything that happened that night.

Even Luna himself wasn't so sure what benefits that encounter would bring, so he decided that the only thing he could do, was to get stronger.

Sura, after eating breakfast, headed out on her own, informing Luna that she was going out to test something, while the rest of the team discussed the prospect of starting a .

After much deliberation, and with Luna expressing his willingness to take the risk, they decided to go through with it.

They didn't want to be like the people who could do nothing but find one shelter after another. They would continue to grow stronger until they wouldn't have to worry about fighting for survival, but fighting to grow a territory and save their fellow people.

There was no official meeting or any fancy processions, it was just a group of friends, during an apocalypse in Luna's living room. "As of today, with the blessing of Apolaki and Mayari, the has begun it's existence. Our goal is to obtain the strength necessary to liberate our country from these invaders."

Their biggest challenge, was due to the fact that these zombies kept spawning. Luckily, besides the beginning of the apocalypse, they wouldn't spawn close to people anymore, which was why they could afford to sleep at night. Just as Luna was pondering what their next plan was going to be, an option popped up in his consciousness.

, you have unlocked the subjugation option. You may choose to subjugate predetermined areas, and mark them as a territory of your

Conditions for subjugating an area.

1.) Clear out the desired area.

2.) Activate subjugation option.

3.) Prepare to defend area from an onslaught of zombies relative to the size of the area.

You may choose to subjugate a City little by little, or you could directly challenge the that might differ from every city, located in the City's center.

Should every area in the city be subjugated before beating it, the will naturally disperse, along with the potential item drops it possesses.

Subjugated areas will not have random spawns within it, but can still be attacked by outside forces.]

just as Luna finished reviewing this new information, he received a message from Sura. "Luna? Can you hear me?"

Luna was startled for a second, before replying. "Sura? How are you contacting me?"

"The moment you summoned me, we actually had this ability already, just that we never actually had a need to use it. But nevermind that, focus for a bit and tell me if you see feel. "

Luna then closed his eyes as he felt as if a wisp of energy entered his body. 1, then 2, then 3, then 5 all at once, sometimes it was like a wisp from a regular zombie, which he could barely feel, but sometimes it would feel the same as the one from an evolved zombie. "Sura, are you... killing zombies?"

"Yes! I'm currently about 2 miles away from you, after finding out about shared EXP within a 's members, I wanted to find out if ours exceeded that. Alright, I'm heading back now, but I'm killing everything on the way back."

"Alright, get back safe." Luna went to the gaming room, which was now aptly renamed to Intelligence Room, where the others were gathered. They didn't know how long the internet was going to be up, so Boni was already starting to archive all the information available online at the moment.

Apparently among the reported landmasses appearing all over the Earth, one of the bigger ones appeared in the Sulu Sea*. A couple decades ago, the most ambitious program in the Philippines, was finally finished. Which was building bridges and subways, to connect all of the islands. Luckily, none have been reported to appear near any of the infrastructure, so none of them were destroyed.

It seems the military was hit hard. Even Manila, the Capital of the Philippines, was just now starting to stabilize their evacuation centers. Some criminals have manage to fend off the zombies and made the secure prisons their fortress, with the country in turmoil, no resources could be spared to handle them.

Bacolod City's officials had also let out an announcement on their website, although majority of them were dead, which explained why there was currently an acting Mayor by the name of Felipe Buencamino. They were currently urging survivors to proceed to the the city's Government Center, which they have barricaded and reinforced. They had teams in charge of killing the surrounding zombies as well, but no mention of a , so it seems as if no one has reached level 10 yet.

Just as they were reading all this, Luna suddenly felt a surge of power, his whole body felt itchy, as impurities were leaving his pores, it was apparent that he reached level 11, and the essences have refined his body slowly in the process, after he clenched his fist, he could feel the power hidden within them. He couldn't help but smile and sent Sura a quick "Thank you."

Five minutes later she arrived back at his house. Reporting to everybody about spotting a bunch of men dragging women and some beaten up men into a compound.

"The ugly side of humanity sure loves to rear it's head. This whole event is basically the best thing they could ever hope for." Mabini commented on the side.

Sura glanced at him, then looked at Luna, "Should we do something about it?"

"I'm no Saint, but if I can do something about it, I will." Luna had a resolute look on his face. "It's better if we don't move together, a big group would be easily noticed. I'll go check it out. Everybody else, head out and grind out some levels, we absolutely cannot fall behind in our progress. Oh, and Mabini." Luna tossed a skill book towards him, he looked at it, and noticed that it was the same skill Boni had, . "Protect your sister well."

"Thank you! Thank you, Luna!" Mabini bowed towards him and expressed his gratitude. Apple did the same, the more she stayed by Luna's side, the more she found out that towards the people he cares about and the people he sees worthy, he'll do his best to care for them.

Luna nodded towards him as he said "All of you, try to get level 10 today, if you can. EXP should effortlessly managed now that you can share it evenly." He was referring of course, to the system's perk of even EXP sharing.

"If you guys hit level 10, we'll try to give this option a try as it seems my house is enough to be considered a territory. Although, it shouldn't be considered big enough to warrant a horde that we can't handle, but it's better to be safe than sorry." He was right, nobody knew the all the specific rules of this new world, they could only learn them as they go or speculate.

One thing was for sure, if they wanted to take back control of the City, and regain some semblance of society, they would need to territories so their can have a safe place to stay. His plan was to take over the schools, due to the fact that they were built like fortresses, and were a lot easier to defend.

With that thought, Luna headed out to the place Sura described. She merely had to tell him the street name, and he automatically knew the place she meant, he knew his beloved city like the back of his hand.
