Maxene Alexandria

When Sura got back, she was shocked to see Luna who was in the middle of testing out the armor. When he willed it, dragon scales would form another layer on his skin, protecting it. He could cover his whole body with it, or partially, as long as he willed it, horns would form from the side of his head and protrude towards the front of his head.

If he willed it, a tail would form, not too thin, and not too thick, it would be perfect in a battle to catch an unsuspecting enemy off guard.

"Whoaaaah! Father! Can I ride on your shoulders and use your horns as handles?" The little kid immediately jumped on top of him as if he was her mount. He could only look at Sura helplessly. Now that this kid wasn't trying to punch a hole through them, she was even more adorable.

"Luna?"

"Yes, Sura?"

Blushing, she continued "Our uhm... dauuu--- daughter. She wants a name and she said she wants you to give her one."

Luna scratched his head, "Don't you have any ideas?"

Sura coughed before she continued "I tried to name her Dirt."

"Dirt?" Luna couldn't have a more bewildered look on his face.

"Father, Mother said it was because I was the Daughter of the Earth, but I don't like that name at all."

"I'm sorry, I thought it was poetic at the time." she reluctantly replied.

Luna burst out laughing while Sura couldn't stop blushing in embarrassment.

"Alright. Hmm... What about Maxene Alexandria. We'll call you Max for short." Luna suggested.

"Yes! I like that name, father!" Max clapped for joy.

Sura looked as if she was in deep thought "Why that name? I like it, I'm just curious."

"Ah, well, you see Maxene or Max originated from the name Maximilian, which in Latin means 'Greatest. Alexandria is the female version of the name Alexander, meaning 'defender of men.'"

After hearing the explanation, Max was even happier than before. Sura couldn't help but smile, "Mn, it's a great name."

Luna proceeded to lift Max off his shoulders and sat her down on the couch and asked her, "Max, I know you're very strong. But is there anything else you're capable of that you'd like to tell us?"

"Yes, father, I uhm.. I don't need to kill to get stronger, the planet naturally provides me with energy, but killing makes me stronger even faster. I was dormant for a very long time, and I wouldn't have surfaced for another million years, but the planet suddenly got supplied with so much natural energy, that I felt everything evolve, and I gained enough strength to surface too." she explained while doing hand gestures as she told her story in a very animated way.

Her parents couldn't help but be shocked, does this mean Max had already existed for such a long time?

"Oh, and I can also sense naturally formed treasures. I can tell the direction where they are, and the feeling gets stronger as I get closer. Oh, I also sense that a lot of natural treasures appeared in a lot of the islands surrounding us, including the one we're on before I got ejected from the womb I was in." she added as if it wasn't too big of a deal.

"Natural treasures?"

"Yes. Some aren't too hidden, some are, but I felt that they're not done growing yet. They're evolving with the world, just like me."

This made sense. With the advent of the new world, the planet as a whole is evolving. Plants, animals, insects, everything. It would also make sense that a lot of natural treasures would appear in the Philippines, seeing as the "womb" that Max came from released her around his area. All that natural energy converging to speed up her growth definitely would have stimulated the growth of such treasures.

This was definitely a good thing, but something that's reserved for the future. Let alone the fact that they weren't done evolving, he needed to expand his territory and quick. He needed to focus on what he had in front of him for now. Since a bonus was basically in his front yard.

For now, everybody had to rest, especially after that struggle they all just went through.

After resting for the next 4 hours, Luna proceeded to place walls all along with the territories, leaving much space for people to live in. Maxene was with him, practicing the Guandao Luna made for her, she seemed to really idolize how her father wielded this weapon, so she kept begging for one until Luna gave in.

Sura was out killing zombies in the vicinity, and so were the others. Only a few others who were assigned to register the new citizens that would come over. After setting up the walls and the turrets, it truly did look very imposing. Once the survivors heading over saw this setup, the sight of it alone would make them feel a sense of security.

As soon as the appointed hour arrived, some of the members who were out grinding for EXP actually met some survivors along the way and escorted them to the base. There were actually some who were actually level 10, but for the most part, it was a bunch of people who had been hiding for a while. Some of them had access to a computer beforehand and saw the notice, some were people that those who knew met along the way and invited over.

The process was smooth, the first task for these survivors was to head over to the place they were supposed to stay and clean it up so they were comfortable with how the houses were. Some had broken windows, broken doors, some were even going to require people to do quite a bit of repair.

Also, there were a lot of houses where the zombies that were killed in it, were actual humans that got infected and had to be carried out. Thankfully there were some who were Carpenters and Architects to help with that. There were also Engineers, Teachers, even Nurses the two Doctors knew, so they were assigned to them. It was a good thing Bacolod City was pretty much a hub for professionals, enough that some of them survived. The majority were students who either came with their parents or all alone.

The survivors who were living in Luna's house also cleaned up some of the houses so they could live there. This place was about to become their leader's household, after all. Not to mention Boni and Elise, the post-apocalyptic lovers, with Boni's high VIT made too much noise at night.

Luna proceeded to assign those who didn't have any specialization to the Army. Despite the fact that he didn't have that much of a population yet, it was better to train people in advance.

As it was starting to get around noon, Boni actually came back, bringing quite a few people who looked like they've been through hell.

"Luna! These guys were from the evacuation area, they need healers as soon as possible! Buencamino, that bastard!"

He could somewhat guess what happened, but he let the survivors get healed up first and gave them some food and water, before asking them what happened.
