Dragon God's Request, Unexpected.

Inside the Ikuya's Sea of Consciousness.

Ikuya and Primordial Azure Dragon stood right opposite to each other. The Primordial Azure Dragon was quite surprised by the things that were present in Ikuya's Sea Of Consciousness.

In Ikuya's sea of consciousness existed a strange diagram with six colourful orbs, a wrist sized black cube, a mysterious white pearl which was glowing with shimmering silver light.

" Those orbs are constantly absorbing the elemental essences from nature. But for what?" The puzzled Primordial Azure Dragon muttered as it saw the strange diagram which was exactly Ikuya's Psionic Elemental Source Diagram, the source of his elemental powers.

The Primordial Azure Dragon then looked at the black cube and had no idea what it was. The black cube is Ikuya's pocket dimension which has an almost infinite inner space.

The mysterious white pearl which was the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] seemed to be invisible to the Primordial Azure Dragon. This came as a surprise to Ikuya.

" Are you done observing things?" Ikuya suddenly asked which brought the Primordial Azure Dragon back to it's senses.

" I am only but a residual soul, which do not have to know too many things that I do not need to know. But you really know how to make one curious to know more about you."

" Young Saiyan, I was thinking that I was overestimating you all this time. But never thought I was still underestimating you. I would've loved to talk more with you, but my time is running low." The Primordial Azure Dragon said.

" You've passed my trial and I'll grant you a total of nine drops of Dragon God Blood, Dragon God Blood Marrow and Dragon God's Soul." The Primordial Azure Dragon said as a blue shiny orb infused itself into Ikuya's soul and 9 drops of red blood drops and another blood drop that was much different from the rest of the blood drops appeared in front of Ikuya.

Ikuya stayed silent for a moment and didn't show any excitement. He then asked, " Primordial Azure Dragon, do you know of anyone or anything that is capable of directly affecting the karma of the world?"

Ikuya's sudden question surprised the Dragon God a lot.

" There is one." The Primordial Azure Dragon said.

" Oh?" Ikuya was now intrigued.

" The Mirror Of Samsara, the seventh ranked Heavenly Profound Treasure. It is said that it can alter the karmic fate of others by a bit. As for the full extent of it's abilities, no one knows." The Primordial Azure Dragon said.

The moment Ikuya heard this, everything about the mysterious karmic force on Chu Yuechan became clear to Ikuya.

" So that's how it was. An artifact that can change the fate of others in accordance to the benefits of it's owner without the owner even realizing it. What a friggin' plot armour." Ikuya muttered in amusement. His interest in the Mirror Of Samsara had increased even further.

" Young Saiyan, can you agree to a request of mine?" The Primordial Azure Dragon asked, ignoring Ikuya's muttering. The word 'request', when spoken, carried a slight tremble to it. As the Primordial Azure Dragon, the leader of the countless divine beasts of the Divine Realm, how often had it ever 'requested' anything from others? A request from the Primordial Azure Dragon…this was something that a normal person couldn't even fathom.

" Request? Sure." Ikuya said nonchalantly as he moved the dragon god blood and blood marrow to the pocket dimension.

The Primordial Azure Dragon ignored Ikuya's action as he looked at Ikuya and said, " What I am about to request is something that nearly impossible to be fulfilled. But..... After seeing your power and seemingly boundless potential. I can't help myself from feeling hopeful. The reason I'd decided to fight you while exhausting all my source energy was also because I wanted to be more sure of my last hope."

" .... " Ikuya remained silent and simply listened to the Primordial Azure Dragon.

" My request is for you to find a sword." The Primordial Azure Dragon said, not much to Ikuya's surprise.

" A sword, huh?"

" Yes. In the realm of gods, most of the peak practitioners search for this sword. That sword has already disappeared countless years ago. Ever since the Gods were annihilated, not even a hint of it has appeared. However, its power and might made it so that people are unable to give up the search for it." The Primordial Azure Dragon continued, " That sword's name is the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword."

" Hmmm.... And the reason?" Ikuya asked.

" Because...." The Primordial Azure Dragon's voice suddenly became sad, " Because my daughter is sealed within the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword! Her body and her spirit are both sealed within that sword!"

" After the demise of the gods, the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword never appeared again. I wish for it to be found, yet am frightened that it may be found. Because if it is never found, my daughter will forever be sealed within that sword, suffering endless darkness and loneliness. However, if that sword is found… If the person who obtains the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword is greedy and evil, after he unseals the sword, my daughter will become that person's tool… After all, my daughter has the pure lineage of the Dragon God!"

" .... "

" But you're different. I fought with you and I know that my daughter will definitely be safe with you. I have a feeling that you'll definitely be able to save my daughter." The Primordial Azure Dragon said gravely.

" Well, if that is all, I don't mind." Ikuya said as he continued, " I give you my word. I'll find that sword at some point of my life."

" Thank you for agreeing to my selfish request." The Primordial Azure Dragon said in a gratified manner. It's spiritual body was starting to disintegrate slowly, confirming the Dragon God's earlier words of him not having time.

" My clan of Dragon Gods had never owed favors to anyone. I will not let you do this without a reward…" The Primordial Azure Dragon said as a blue gauntlet materialized in front of Ikuya.

" This is the last remaining part of my Clan's most valuable treasure other than the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword, the Dragon God Battle Suit. But even if incomplete, even Divine Masters would fight over this gauntlet." The Primordial Azure Dragon said as he passed over the gauntlet to Ikuya.

Ikuya noticed some bloodstains on the blue gauntlet that emitted the forces of darkness. Ikuya frowned upon seeing this and asked, " What's with these bloodstains?"

" Ah? It belongs to one of the Devil Emperors. It was because of my fight against him that, with the exception of this gauntlet, all other parts of the Dragon God Battle Suit was destroyed. But the powers of the devil blood has weakened a lot so it shouldn't cause any trouble for you. I had originally planned to bury this gauntlet in the depths of the Blue Pole Star. But I have a feeling that you'll be able to get rid of the devil emperor's blood of the gauntlet and my prized life artifact will once again be able to enter battle. I only decided to give this to you because of your endless thirst for battle which makes you perfect for the gauntlet." The Primordial Azure Dragon said.

But Ikuya paid no attention to his words and only the words 'Devil Emperor' was repeating itself in his mind.

Devil Emperor. An existence on the same level as a Creation God. And now.... In Ikuya's hands was the gauntlet which had the blood stains of one of the devil emperors. Ikuya's mind was filled with excitement and joy at this unexpected jackpot he received from the Primordial Azure Dragon.

Ikuya calmed his excited state of mind and then looked at the disintegrating Primordial Azure Dragon and seriously said, " I promise you, I'll definitely find the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword and free your daughter."

The Primordial Azure Dragon was surprised by Ikuya's words, then said, " Your words alone are more than enough for me to peacefully pass on. You have my deepest gratitude, Young Saiyan."

" Leave it to me. I rarely make promises and when I do, I'll make sure to keep them at all costs." Ikuya said.

" Thank you, young Saiyan. Please take good care of my daughter after you find her." The Primordial Azure Dragon said as it had completely disintegrated. Before it vanished, it had a peaceful smile in it's face.

" Huh? He didn't just say that, did he?" Ikuya muttered in a troubled tone.

Then he looked at the blue gauntlet in his hand and then said, " Well, I guess it shouldn't be a problem. He did give me an excellent gift as dowry."

Ikuya didn't mind having an unknown fiancée now. Right now, he was in an extremely good mood. He wouldn't mind being a bit more generous as well.

Suddenly he sensed that the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] absorbing a colossal amount of unknown energy out of nowhere. By this point, the pearl had completely turned silver.

" Just what is it upto?" Ikuya muttered as he observed the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity]. He was unable to understand any of it's powers at all.

Ikuya then sent his consciousness back to his body, but he was struck with a sense of hellish pain. Ikuya wanted to sigh but his body was unable to respond to him.

' Looks like molding three different types of energies into one energy was too much for my body to handle. Even in my Ascended Super Saiyan form. I should refrain myself from doing it again until I am able to tap into the god forms.' Ikuya thought. Then he used the remaining of his mental energy to use Genetic Access to heal his body, which was done in a few seconds.

Ikuya retained his body senses and he felt drops of water falling on his face and a pair of hands holding his face.

" ?!"

Ikuya opened his eyes and the sight before made him lose his cool and made him a bit dazed.

He found himself laying on the ground with his head on Chu Yuechan's lap. Chu Yuechan's face was filled with sadness and pain as tears were pouring out from her trembling eyes. The tears were falling on Ikuya's face drop by drop as Chu Yuechan's face was on close proximity with with Ikuya's.

" Ikuya.... You're okay...?" Chu Yuechan saw Ikuya's eyes open and all his injuries healed.

" Ye-Yeah. I'm fine." Ikuya said while trying to calm his disturbed mind.

Ikuya then found that Fera in it's mini form was sleeping upon his chest. His further thoughts were distributed when Chu Yuechan rubbed his face and the expression on her face was making Ikuya a bit uncomfortable.

" Don't ever do such a thing again!" Chu Yuechan said in a sorrowful and reprimanding tone.

" ....Okay." Ikuya said as he thought, ' You're being out of character here, woman.'

" Ikuya.... I want to say something to you..." Chu Yuechan said with a dazed expression.

" .... " Ikuya didn't know what to say. He was feeling troubled now.

" When I thought you died, I felt like I lost everything. That was when I knew how much you mean to me..."

' I'm really not liking where this is going...' Ikuya thought.

" Ikuya..... I wasn't sure before.... But now I know..." Chu Yuechan said to Ikuya with a soft tone. Along with that genuine smile and her teary eyes, this was a sight that could garner the affection of any man. This was a genuine expression.

" Ikuya... I lo-" Before Chu Yuechan could finish whatever she was going to say, Ikuya used Instant Transmission to teleport Chu Yuechan and Fera along with him away from the ruined Wasteland Of Death.

" ?!"

In an instant, all three of them were in a cave which was lit up by colourful shining stones and beautiful red plants. This place was very beautiful.

This was the cave in Sorrowsouth Mountain in which Ikuya used to reside and create more Phoenix Origin Blood and conduct experiments with it.

The profound energy inside this cave was unusually pure and dense and carried a gentle feeling to it. Chu Yuechan was dazzled by the beauty of this place for a moment before turning her attention back to Ikuya, who still had his head on her lap.

" Ikuya.... I-"

" I'm quite tired." Ikuya softly said, interrupting Chu Yuechan's words as he closed his eyes, seemingly falling asleep.

Chu Yuechan was silent for an entire minute before sighing. She then looked at Ikuya's sleeping face and gently smiled.

She stroked Ikuya's hair gently as she softly said, " You worked hard..... Goodnight for now."

Six hours later....

Ikuya looked at Chu Yuechan and Fera who were fast asleep. He then silently walked out of the cave. Ikuya didn't worry about anything entering the place as he had already placed a Spatial lock around this specific spot of the Sorrowsouth Mountain.

He was feeling conflicted as to what he felt towards Chu Yuechan. He knew that he was kind of fond of her. But if it was to the point of love... He wasn't sure. For the moment, he pushed the matter of Chu Yuechan to a corner of his mind.

Ikuya walked towards the cliff of the mountain and stood there gazing at the star filled sky.

Ikuya gripped his fist and felt overwhelming power in his body. His battle power had increased drastically because of the Zenkai Boosts he received after the fight with Primordial Azure Dragon.

Not only that. Ikuya was very surprised to find out that the Zenkai Boost applies even on his Profound Veins as his cultivation had also increased a lot and was now at the 6th level of Sky Profound Realm. An increment of 4 levels.

Ikuya then looked at the blue dragon imprint on his left back wrist and his smile widened.

" Dragon God Origin Blood, Devil Emperor's blood, A Divine Artifact, a decently exciting battle, a huge boost in my overall power..... Leaving out the unexpected event with Chu Yuechan.... This has been a very satisfying day for me." Ikuya muttered as he sat down near the cliff.

Ikuya was still troubled by the event with Chu Yuechan. He couldn't really blame her since he was the one who literally forced her to stay with him, just because of his deep interest in the mysterious karmic force. But he simply disregarded this problem for now.

Suddenly, the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] came out from Ikuya's Sea Of Consciousness. It floated in front of Ikuya while shimmering with silver light.

Ikuya was surprised and was a bit excited as well. The last time something like this happened, the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] had given him a overpowered mental energy strengthening technique like the 'God Mental Force'.

" Today really is my lucky day." Ikuya muttered with a slight smile, looking at the shining [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] with an expectant expression.
