Lu Mingshu straightened her sleeves, picked up the bundle of flowers, went out the door, and then climbed onto Little Daze's back.
With a flap of its wings, Little Daze soared into the sky.
She hadn't noticed before, but tonight was a full moon night, and the moonlight spilled down, as gentle as water.
Little Daze didn't carry her far and stopped on a hilltop.
It was a lone peak, not very large, and its scenery wasn't particularly remarkable.
Little Daze dropped her off and flew away. Its parents were calling it. The three Snow Winged Cloud-treading Horses flew off into the distance while calling, disappearing quickly.
She shook her head. Just as she was about to speak, starlight swept up from the side of the peak.
One, two, three... more and more gathered, increasingly dense. It wasn't as brilliant as fireworks, yet the specks of light, like a galaxy inverted, fell around her, blurring the lines between reality and illusion.
