Tang Li Ming's life has been full of half-hearted attempts and failures. Although he performed flawlessly in class and his homework, when it came time to execute, he wouldn't be able to.
After receiving news that it would be unlikely for him to move on to college, he decides to run away from home. He uses his remaining savings from his part time job to fly to the California in the United States to see his favorite team compete in the one thing he actually enjoyed: Legends Rise.
The story follows his adventures as he matures throughout his life and career as a professional gamer.

Not horrible, but also not amazing. Sentence structure is a bit jarring to read, and the statement pacing is strange. My main issue is the lack of knowledge as to how Esports works, though. It's very clear to me that the knowledge on the operation of an esports team and the players practicing habits, plus the coach, that the writer does not have any experience in the esports scene. The display of a very rudimentary and romanticized version of esports is very prevalent in this novel, and detracts greatly from the experience.
This is a really great story but wish it had more chapters. One hasn't been posted since January but this novel is really good the author took feedback like being “to Japanese” and stuttering and changed the personality of the main character through plot development and my guess was that she planned for the main character to hide his identity but he ended up not doing that which really surprised me and its a new change of pace where the mc isn’t a complete wimp and hides his identity I really like it and I didn’t catch myself being frustrated by the main character hiding his strength nor was the main character a dimwit. I just hope the author keeps releasing chapters.
I've read to ch 41 as I am reviewing this. It is pretty good so far, the story is decently paced and the mc isn't a complete idiot and neither are his teammates or the competitors. I'm excited to see where it goes.

Author, I'm begging you please write a chapter. This is so good and has so much potential. I was so excited to see them do the photoshoot and him doing tournaments. Also, his streaming would've been fun.
