Shadow

Nathan and Gray still ran in the corridor of the station to chase Erigor who had run away.

In the original story, the ones who worked together with Gray to pursue Erigor was Natsu, though all along the way they just fight endlessly. But because Natsu was still unconscious at this time, Natsu's position was replaced by Nathan who is the culprit that caused the original storyline changes.

Throughout their pursuit, Gray also asked Nathan about him who happened to be at Oshibana Station, as a 10-year-old boy, it quite dangerous to go all the way alone from Magnolia to this place, let alone this station was being hijacked by the Dark Guild, Eisenwald.

Of course, Nathan will not reveal the real purpose of him coming to this place. He can only say he did his first mission as a member of Fairy Tail, and coincidentally his location is in the Oshibana Town. He also expressed his surprise when he saw Gray and the others at this station. Sure, he also acted if he knew nothing about Eisenwald.

Being trapped in this dangerous situation, Nathan again acted as if he were an innocent victim. He was forced to reveal himself because he saw Lucy was in grave danger of a surprise attack from Kageyama.

Naturally, Gray believed what he told him, he thought there was no reason for Nathan to lie about this serious matter. Besides, Nathan's first mission is quite simple, merely become a waiter at a small coffee cafe in Oshibana. There's no way Gray will think something off about him such as suspecting him for stalking their team all the way here.

Until Gray and Nathan end up reached a fork in the path they stopped chatting,

"Which way?" Gray wonders asking.

"Gray-san, how about we split up?" Nathan suggested.

Gray immediately stared at the little brat who still hasn't yet grown hair of maturity and gave him a warning, "Listen Nathan! our opponent is a dangerous mage who's planning to use a dangerous magic, though he is an idiot who picked a quarrel with Fairy Tail. However!!! we must not underestimate it just because he is alone!"

"Do you understand now? so, I can't leave you alone to find that big idiot Erigor"

Nathan shook his head as he said, "Don't worry Gray-san, I have my own way to escape safely even if I'm not his opponent, withal, I can also signal you when I find Erigor. That way, our search for finding Erigor can be more efficient than going together and end up taking the wrong direction".

That was indeed true! Gray pondered for a moment as he hesitantly looked at Nathan's small body, his expression showed how confident he was with his own abilities, finally Gray sighed, "Well if you keep insisting, remember! Safety is the top priority and gives me a signal immediately if you're in danger! understand?"

Gray told Nathan like he was advising a small child who was first doing an errand. It can't be help, despite having a small healthy body, Nathan looked so weak with his childish face.

"..." Nathan felt like he had to show off more of his strength in the future, "Alright" he agreed bitterly.

When all said and done, they finally split up, Gray took the left and Nathan instead.

Nathan walked in the corridor nonchalantly as if he had no intention of finding the target he was chasing after. It's not like he didn't want to chase it, the truth is the target that he was chasing after was already outside the station building and he was arranging a large Wall Wind using his Wind Magic that enough to cover the entire station building.

So what else must be pursued? besides, another flies have watched him all the way ever since he was still together with Gray. Maybe Gray didn't realize it, but he realized it.

The shadows indeed have no form! If it wasn't for his Eye of Horus, maybe he would also find it difficult to realize the existence of the shadow that followed him.

Shadow Magic is indeed a unique category magic. Though it lacks a physical power, it's very effective for a mage who like to use sneak attacks on it opponents.

Shadow is also useful for hiding himself when in a precarious situation, it is also very effective to stalking someone without worrying about getting caught. It's really peculiar magic.

Unaware that he was found out, Kageyama continued to follow the green-haired young boy by hiding in his own shadow.

He waited for the right opportunity to attack both Nathan and Gray, but after seeing the two of them split up, so he decided to follow the most weak-looking one first, after taking care of him he would immediately catch up with another one.

Though intends like that, his instincts couldn't help felling suspicion towards the young boy that he was following, he neither run nor rushed to go after Erigor, the young boy's water calm face almost made him hesitant to attack him.

'How absurd! he is just a little tiny prey in the end!' Kageyama swept away the feeling of his hesitancy.

As he decided to take his action, his body gradually emerged from the black shadow that was on the roof, then his feet were ready to square off to kick his prey from behind, "and then..."

While running through the corridor, Gray realizes got an idea that in order to broadcast the lullaby, Erigor must have gone to a room with a broadcasting system. Gray immediately heads in the studio.

Unfortunately, he only to find it empty. However, one of the member Eisenwald named Rayule suddenly appears from above and attacks Gray with his magic but Gray dodges the attack in a flash as prepares to counter.

Rayule dons a distinctive jacket, light in the low part and dark in the upper one and on the sleeves, which comes equipped with a tight hood covered in black and light stripes.

"Your instinct is too good. You'll be a nuisance to our plan" Rayule sinisterly said.

"So there really is something going on huh? Gezzz... and you were complaining about having any real work to do..." Gray grinned.
