Godking Ascending the Heavens

Van is returning for your reading pleasure very soon. I am working on some advance chapters and re-editing old chapters again. The story is continuing, albeit at a slower pace. I will be posting 3 chapters a week to test the waters.

To those who have been waiting, thank you. Writing a novel is all-consuming. It takes more time than you think, and you can't exactly write when you want to like other part-time jobs. Balancing full-time university and the stress of exams while also pumping out a chapter every day (and bonus chapters) was unsustainable. The family didn't approve either, they all wanted me to do something more useful with my time - like, get a part-time job (I did...boring), relationship (I did... didn't end well), good grades (I did). I would like to say that I held firmly onto my beliefs and continued writing... but from the 6-month hiatus, you know that I caved. A lot has changed in these 6 months and I am better for it.

Now that I have satisfied my family (and society) by showing them I can function like a normal human being, I am more than ready to get back to what I really enjoy... admittedly I have yet to receive a single cent in return for 100's of hours of work... Maccas paid more LOL!
